Anyone else remember the cartoons that showed "inventions" for the house and weird cars?

I remember seeing these years ago. They were often shown along with Looney Tunes and would show inventions and weird cars that would often malfunction and/or do funny things. I used to love seeing them, but haven't seen them in a long time. Am I the only one who remembers these cartoons and loves them?

I think you're talking about Tex Avery's "House/Car of The Future" shorts. I think Cartoon Network shows them periodically, especially when they do their theme-based shows.

I believe they show them on Boomerang, during the Tex Avery Show. Do a search at cartoonnetwork.com, you'll be able to find out some information I'm sure.

I think they should be released on DVD if they aren't already. I'd definitely buy them.

The machine that took the burps out of radishes...hand over mouth, then "Burp", "Burp", "Burp"... [face_laugh]

Or the TV for the busy office worker who couldn't go fishing...and the washer TV, that was priceless. :D

The voice overs would make it all the more funnier.
