Hell, anything by the Chemical Brothers and The Crystal Method is gold. Prodigy and Orbital, and Underworld are also some of my faves along with Fatboy Slim, Juno Reactor, and Fluke. I also have an interest in some Industrial/Techno crossover stuff, KMFDM and The Lords Of Acid spring to mind.

I'm nor sure who's responsible for the music in the first one. I've seen it attributed to a few different artists but I know that the rave music from Blade 2 is "Blood is Pumping" by Voodoo and Serano. It's not too shabby as far as I'm concerned either.

Hmm, I guess it kinda depends, specifically, what type of stuff you're looking for? Just in general, I'd say: Keoki (my favorite, already been said), some stuff by Daft Punk..'cause not all of it is good, Headrillaz, Talvin Singh, AK 1200, possibly Roni Size.

My cousin Eric used to send me mix tapes of techno and other cool stuff... I don't know if it's your style but I like The Art of Noise. Close (to the Edit) and Moments in Love (piano intro) are two that I have on my playlist right now, so... They put out an album a coupld years ago called The Seduction of Claude Debussey, it's pretty cool.

Also I have a question. On those mix tapes, there was this one piece with cuts of the Apollo missions mixed in. It ended with "Tranqillity Base here, the Eagle has landed." I have done some research and I think the song I'm talking about is called Elevation, on the album Cyberworld by someone called JP69 (though I could be wrong). If anyone can point me to an mp3 or something, that would be great. (The CD came out in 92 and I've looked around... no luck.)

My sister loves KMFDM! No mercy for the majority. Great stuff. :D

Wolfsheim is also great Darkwave/industrial techno as well, you might wanna give "Once in A Lifetime" a listen to. :)

The Crystal Method - Name of the Game

Ooooh, is that "Calling All Freaks" from Blade II? I love that song. :)

Some other gooders are "I Against I" by Mos Def Jam, techno remixed (from Blade II) and "Tears" by The Cruxshadows. Cruxshadows is gothic techno, but it's still great stuff. I also recommend anything Chris Sheppard, if that hasn't already been mentioned.

While this thread is still active, anyone else got any more suggestions? I got broadband about a month or so ago and I started getting stumped on what to look for (music-wise) about 2 weeks ago, 'cause I, of course, went crazy with it when I first got it getting music and anime. I've already taken some of the suggestions from this thread. I've already thought to look up the most common stuff (Fatboy Slim, Chemical Bros., etc.) I guess what I like most is Drum n' Bass/Jungle stuff. I would wager that I would like most gabber too, but all I've heard along those lines is Delta 9 (which I loooooove). The main thing I can say with confidance that I do not get into is house. So, as goofy as it is to ask for suggestions in a thread that's already got suggestions...I'm asking for suggestions. ;)

Edit: To be a bit more specific (if anyone's listening that is): I generally don't like stuff with vocals a whole lot (hence, I don't get into "diva-"filled house stuff). There's a few songs I get into now and then with vocals (a couple examples that I, surprisingly, like: "Watching Windows"-Roni Size and "Drowning"-AK 1200), but those are a rarity.
