Are our email addresses being given out by TF.N?

I jus got an adverting email from 'PalTalk World' and its addressed to TK Four Two One in the header of the email!!! One is not amused!!!

I knew it! Its them gits who are responsible for the 'increase your length by 3 inches' emails I invariably get thrice daily!

The one that makes me laugh is the one that heads "DarkQueen satisfy your woman!" do they know something I don't?

 

What doesn't make me laugh is that somehow, 'someone' has registered my email account to a router somewhere. So, I get 'undeliverables' and 'returned messages' many times a day about 'nob enlargements', which allegedly, I've sent out to random people!

I suppose the only thing you can do with that is to retire your address...

 

Well, the EU and the Govt. are keen to put some control over Spam Emails. Only thing about this is that t'internet is about the only uncontrolled means of communication and entertainment (from a home PC) left in this country. If they start to control Spam, the next thing is that they will be able to control website content...

Surely the mailing center should be able to tell you what IP address the person who registered you used though?

I've definitely seen an increase in spam to my work address and there's only one place that uses that address as a registration and send entry (eBay). So I think it must be them instead... spam to my Hotmail account (for everything else I sign up to) has actually gone DOWN in the last month!

 

I get an avergae of 40-50 spams a day on my hotmail. I get bugger all on my yahoo, and virtually nothing for weeks on end on the aol account (which is used for my ebay)... its bizarre. I wouldn't put it beyond 'malicious' usage to be honest...

 

I've never gotten spam from e-bay and I use the place alot.

My hotmail account and more recently my freeserve address has been innundated with spam... it's irritating as hell and I delete my cookies everytime I turn my PC on (via a handly little prog) and also I have a thing which searches out and deletes spyware on my harddrive, which does cut down on the ammount but still... I had thought it was malicious before like you Az

Actually, the ammont of spam went up considerably around the time some stupid bitch signed up to FaceParty and rated me about 5 times stuff like dog, creepy etc... funny that! (My profile is only shown here in my profile... funny that eh?)

The ones I hate are the 'Real Rape' spam mails... makes me feel sick just thinking about it!

 

Worse thing is msn messages when chatting online. They just pop up and ask if you want to watch teenage girls diddle themselves or somesuch...

 

Aye... I know if you use chatrooms on Yahoo or MSN the spambots harvest your e-mail addys! It's why I don't use them anymore!

 

I've not been on ANY chatrooms. Ever. Just standard msn convos. MSN need to sort this problem out. Otherwise people will leave.

MSN sucks donkeys though... I prefer Yahoo and the smileys are much more hilarious particularly as you can download ALTERNATIVE smileys *cough*
