Are Smurfs mammals, or what?

Are Smurfs mammals? I mean, they've only got one girl, which seems to imply to me that she's their "queen" in a hive society.

But Smurfette wasn't originally part of the group. Gargamel created her to tempt the Smurfs so that he could capture him. But it failed, and she went to live with the Smurfs.

So, Smurfette isn't a "queen", she's a backfired science experiment. But it's still a single female servicing a large group of males, telltale sign of a hive social structure.

 

I think they are insects. There kind of small. About them all been male mabye you just don't see the queen. Or mabye they are escaped sperms that are blue for some reason.

 

Well, i know that their a-sexual, if that helps?

i reckon they are aliens who crash landed on earth. on their home planet they are giants.

 

First of all, Papa Smurf didn?t create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel?s evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. But the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole ****-bang scenario *laughs* is just couldn?t happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don?t even have reproductive organs under those little white pants. That?s what?s so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. What?s the point of living if you don?t have a ****?

 

Perhaps that's why they're blue

I believe in one episode there was a Baby Smurf who was delivered by the stork. Therefore Smurfs have no reproductive capabilities at all.

 

Doesn't the stork bring babies to us though


You know the missus places an order with the milkman (I believe he leaves a deposit which is weird) then 9 months later the stork delivers a baby.
