http://news.msn.com/science-technology/mapping-how-emotions-manifest-in-the-body Apparently science has proven no matter what you are a hot head when you get angry. Also puts new meaning to the word, feeling blue when depressed. And you notice how happiness is your whole body but Love misses your legs. I guess it gives scientific evidence of being weak at the knees while in love. Who knew emotions caused our bodies to react that way.
Now you can see why you are numb when you are depressed. You are cold and even when you are sad you still have something. And it is interesting the feeling in the pit of your stomach, you can see it as a bright red spot on other emotions. If you study the emotions and the spots you can get an idea how contempt becomes disgust and how it changes into anger. Or how anxiety isn't in your hands but as it turns to fear the heat moves to your hands. So now you can differentiate if someone is fearful of public speech or just anxious by their hands.
It is the physical connection between the psychological and the biological portion of the human body. It is so useful for everyone. And you see what we as a species in our language have been trying to communicate over thousands of years. That physical connection we only feel but can't really see. But now we can.
When I was in the depths of my horrible depression, I was really surprised at one thing that I'd never heard anyone really talk about. It literally felt hot inside my head. I mean, my brain felt physically hot, like uncomfortably hot. I'd never really heard anyone say that. It was a horrible feeling.
Oh know we have known about these things forever but no one has ever documented them in terms of heat signatures which explains other sides of emotions we may not be aware of. Happiness is your whole body but love skips your legs. Why? Although if you study Anxiety and Fear you get an idea of both emotions. Anxiety is rapid breathing, Your gut is in pain. Noted by the higher level of heat. But fear has a unique side effect. Notice the heat signatures in the legs and arms. Typical of shaking when you are scared. The pain is lessened in your stomach cause it migrates to your legs and arms as you shake.
I think I can see what courage is as well. If you look at it Surprise you see some heat in the brain. As if someone seeing something happening like a kid about to walk out into traffic. Then you see anxiety, we know courage might be more related to anxiety. You get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. That feeling of courage but might be a bit of anxiety. But you also notice no shaking so no heat in the hands but you also see no heat in the head. That means what most heroes state. I didn't know what I was doing. I just reacted. Their brain was thinking about the consequences. Courage isn't thinking its doing. And it comes from your stomach, your gut. Yet when you get angry you may not think of the same consequences but instead you play out the reason for anger. Your head gets hot from the scenario playing over and over. I just realized Surprise is characterized as a total shock to your system. Basically you stop in your tracks and nothing else goes on. There is the evidence. Nothing else fires off and you are attuned to what is going on in your brain. Might explain why some people when they are surprised just faint cause their brains shut down completely after being surprised and you find that since nothing else is going on then the brain is completely responsible for the shut down. Also explains why its hard for someone do something when caught off guard. This is totally fascinating.
Anger has been one of my weakest points. I can feel so much energy getting lost in the moment of anger. When I start listening to music, I feel my body returning to a comfortable state and my thoughts start feeling more positive.
So you're saying we already know what you're going to do, because already we are seeing the chemical precursors that signal the onset of an emotion, designed specifically to blind you to logic and reason?
