In the first movie, Doc Evil talks about his childhood and his parents, but in the third movie, it's revealed that he and Austin are brothers! Was Doc Evil given up for adoption or something? I don't remember...

He wasn't given up for adoption, he was discovered by the Belgian and the 15-year-old prostitue with webbed feet after the car with him, Austin, and their birth mother exploded. Austin's father thought that Austin was the only survivor.

The whole series is full of them.

*Miss Kinnsington is supposedly a fembot, but yet she has a mother.

*Fat Bastard sings the Chili's song, and Woody Harrelson appears in 1969

*Clint Howard and the General both appear in 1969

*Fat Bastard makes it to 1999 magiclly

*Scott should be 30ish, and not 20ish in the orignal

*Austin's dad should be 80-90 instead of 60 in Goldmember

*Austin was robbing the cradle if he was doing Foxxy 8 years before 1975.

    *Mustafa didn't age between 1967 and 1997

*Bert Bacarach and Elvis Closio are middle aged in 1969

I'm sure I could think of more, but I'm sure you get the idea.

I can't believe you're worried about continuity in Austin Powers. Continuity in the EU is so much more fun to try and explain. I dare you to go into Literature and ask what the length of a Super Star Destroyer is.

This is truly one of the funniest threads I've ever seen here.

Continuity in an Austin Powers movie.....

That's what I like to believe, but that brings up the error of why did he never go try to find her. And if Dr. Evil did "kill" her why would Austin forgive him at the end of Goldmember.

He wasn't a test tube baby. He was conceived when Dr. Evil dranks Austin's mojo and jumped Fraw. Which means he should have been born in 1970.

He forgave him because Austin is one of the "good guys."

What's the purpose of the internet if we can't rip movies apart? That's all I see anyone do on the world wide web.:)

Okay everyone, say it with me:

    It's a movie!!

And it's the type where it's so stupid it's funny which means the concept of continuity shouldn't even be thought of.

So throw them a freakin' bone!!

    Snoogins!!!

I find it funny how people keep saying "Who cares?" or "It's just a movie" when we're posting on a Star Wars message board.

I was waiting for that one. SW is a little more serious movie than Austin Powers. Like I said, AP is one of those "so stupid it's funny" movies. So strict continuity shouldn't really come into play.

SW is a little more serious. So there should be a degree more continuity.

SW is a little more serious

The feral teddy bears are inclined to agree with that.

EDIT: Or you can click on the pic for the image. I have the worst luck with pics it seems. :p

I've done that before...and I discovered why I should never do that again. Ever. :(

That is so funny Hawk. :p [face_laugh]

Or better yet, what are the thoughts on the Sovereign-class & Eclipse-class SSD. :p

Let's just wait until AP 4 comes out...then we can really talk about Continuity errors.
