Hi all got a question for you all. Not really SW related just need advice please.
If your Fiance of 4 years is talking about weddings and how much she loves you and you then find 3 weeks later that she doesnt love you anymore and that there is another younger guy on the scene but she says theres nothing in it, then she tells you she wishes you were the same person of 4 years ago and there might be a possibility of you getting back with her what do you do? do you wait because you love her and understand that she is going through a lot of crap or do you cut off all ties and then move on with your life..... I know its weird to ask you lot this question but im having a **** HELP!!!

    Tough decision, mate.

It could be concieved that she was talking about weddings, and telling you how much she loves you, because she was trying to tell you something without telling you. You know how some women like to play the guessing game; maybe she was trying to leave a subtle hint in trying to tell you that she wanted to get married.

As for the younger bloke on the scene, that could be true. It could also be a rouse. In either way, what she was trying to do had worked...and you know what that was? Getting your attention. Have you asked her why she decided to leave you...the REAL reason? Talk to her. Find out what was on her mind.

Maybe you can reconcile, and good luck to you if you decided to do so, but you must be open to the strong possibility that you have lost her, and you will have to move on with your life.

You will be pleased to know that Darth_Gavinus has moved on and found himself a nice new filly to torment.

There's a very long and very funny story attached to this, but I can't be bothered to type it all out, besides it's probably only funny to a select few and would hold no interest to you guys.

I'll be sure to pass on your words of encouragement.

Onwards and upwards as they say!

I'm still single though (kindda). So if anyone knows any good looking, single female SW fans, let me know.

That reminds me, we haven't seen Sakara for a while. ;)

Wonder what crazy caper she's up to?

still finding out wether i can actually have that name (got to see if its registered as a company first)
im already contracted to Wales biggest costume company Marigolds who do the background character stuff for Dr Who. im also commisioned off them to make costumes for their hire section.
And so far ive had a few inquiries..sadly theyve all been USA which i dont deal with as all my costumes are made to maesure..bit hard when the customer is on the other side of the world!!..may change my mind if i get loads though. Do a get out clause thing of your risk if it dont fit...well see.

the reason i went this way was cos id had work experience at marigolds and to be in that business you tend to need to be freelance.very few companies take permanent staff.

I wouldn't be too worried about getting the size right for American customers, just make everything XXXXXL and you should do just fine. :)

Possibly, still funny none the less. ;)

By the way, if your a Michael Sheard fan, you should check out "Admiral Ozzel's Sozzles Hovel" over in in the main FFUK.

I named that one myself as an honor to the great man!

You can borrow it if you want and open a chain of pubs in your forums with the same name.

EDIT: That mind trick almost worked, but no it's best unsaid methinks.
Could cause ramifications. Just let it be known it didn't go as I'd have liked.

    Well ok.
We worked together for alomst a year.
Became friends - We saw ROTS 5 times!
I quit a while ago, but we still hang out.
We went out the other night, I overheard her and one of our friends discussing that I liked her, so, after a restless night I decided enough with the pretense and called her the next day...
    Not a chance!
Apparently we don't Vibe that way(?)
Not sure exactly what that means beyond the obvious, but if nothing else it's put my mind at rest and I can stop wondering.
Hopefully we'll still hang out, but I don't think things will be the same.
I know she doesn't post here, but we have a friend who might.
Hopefully this'll pass under the radar.

    Awhh man, that sucks!!

Women can be soooo evil sometimes.

I know it doesn't really help when people say this, but my advice would be to go out, get yourself a fine young filly and really rub her nose in it.

See how she feels about her bloody "vibe" issues then.

Yeah it's tough dealing with women sometimes, but she is really a nice girl and we get on well as friends even if she doesn't want anything else. What I don't understand is how we can hang out so often and have as much fun together as we (or at least I) have and her not feel anything for me - that sounds a bit pompous I know, but that's just another one of big differences between men and women I suppose. She has alway had a lot of male friends anyway.

Going out and getting a nice filly Sounds like a good idea though.

I suppose theres such a big difference between men and women it would be almost impossible to guess what the hell they are thinking?

When a guy gets on well with a girl, he naturaly thinks there could be something more, where as a girl sees friends as just friends.

    Bizarre I know?

I wouldn't bother wasting your time to be honest. Chances are that if she does change her mind it will come with "conditions" and she will have all the power and say in the relationship.

If I were you, i'd just carry on being her fried and if anything happens in the future, great, but it has to be a mutal thing, not something thats forced. If that makes sense?
