BoJack Horseman is back for a third season of bad decision making, depression, malaise, self loathing, and alcohol fueled shenanigans. Have you already binge watched the entire third season like an excited Mr. Peanutbutter or are you taking it one episode at a time and slowly digesting it like confused and befuddled Diane? Are you a Zoe or a Zelda? JCCers: Do you watch Bojack Horseman? What do you like? Let's find out!

    I'm J.D. Salinger.

And I want to watch, but I still have Stranger Things. Argh!

I don't know if I'm emotionally equipped to deal with another season of BoJack.

... I may have just started the first episode of the season as I typed this.

This program is misanthropic and I discourage viewing it.

Honestly, it has helped me to get through some really lousy times and I found it to be incredibly life affirming.

And I *loved* "Fish Out Of Water". I really enjoy seeing the softer side of Bojack.

I like it because it's an adult sitcom without trying to outdo the crudeness of Family Guy or South Park. The humour is a little mild, but the characters and overall arcs are very well written which makes it one of the most enduring animated sitcoms i've seen in a while.

Totally agree. I find myself easily relating to the characters. The visual animal gags and satire of the entertainment industry are also part of the fun, but they enhance the core of the show which is the emotional roller coaster which the characters ride.

Fish Out Of Water - cute artistic perfection! Plus that last moment just killed.

I just recently finished season 3. On the whole, it wasn't as heartbreaking as season 2, but the painful moments were REALLY painful. :'(

I definitely agree that it's a life-affirming show. I've seen a number of touching posts on the internet from fans of this show discussing ways it's improved their lives. The jogger's advice at the end of season 2 is meaningful to a lot of people. I actually saw a post on reddit today by a drug addict who said the show was inspiring him to get clean.

Personally, I found Diane's arc after coming back from Cordovia very relevant because when I first watched it, I was (and still am) dealing with the aftershocks of my own failure to become the "best possible version of myself," and was forced to acknowledge that my initial attempts at coping were going about as badly for me as Diane's were for her. I never built a Buckingcan Palace... but if I'd been living with an enabler like Bojack, who can say what would've happened? :p

To use the show's own parlance - Zeldas will probably hate watching it, but Zoës will find solace in it.

My favorite songs were two from the 2007 episode: generic 2007 pop song (the generic songs are always great) and the new version of the end credits theme.

Yeah, it's absolutely brilliant. Well written, extremely original, it handles very complex subjects in a very complete and insightful way.

The first half of the final season dropped on Friday, lots of good story arcs getting tied up and added to.

This thread probably deserves a bump seeing as there's some advance reviews for the final episodes floating about (Almost universally glowing in their praise) and given that the episodes are going live on Friday.

I'm looking forward to this. I'll finish "The Leftovers" series finale tonight, hopefully watch all 90 minutes of "The Good Place" series finale tomorrow, and then I'll be ready to start BoJack on Friday. I'm sad to see it go.

I'm wondering since Netflix doesn't want to do it anymore can the creators can pitch a 7th season to other companies?
