Since the teaser trailer hit in April and the synopsis of the film has been officially been revealed, I thought BvS should get it's own thread. We're about 9 months away. SPOILER ALERT: The Flash & Aquaman Cameos In 'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' REVEALED!
I'm picturing the scene from splash, where the government have daryl hannah in a tank, but with kal drogo
So, that's going to be Aquaman's cameo, huh? I sure am glad we got that awesome character poster for him then.
Oh, hey, this again! http://www.mtv.com/news/2190934/jesse-eisenberg-lex-luthor/ Jesse Eisenberg discusses playing Lex Luthor. The expectations that I have are never the same expectations that an audience has. I don’t have expectations for myself to adhere to a comic book character, but a lot of people are interested in how I would coincide with the comic book character. But it couldn’t be farther from my mind, because I’m just playing a role… It’s a really great character that’s written by this guy, Chris Terrio, he’s a phenomenal writer… He loves my character in the same way I love my character. He put a lot of work into it. It’s a great character, there’s an emotional core to the character. It’s not this silly, villainous character. This is a real depiction of a person who thinks these things. So the challenge is to make it seem real. Well, on the plus side: it basically all but confirms Chris Terrio has replaced literally everything of the Goyer BS. On the down side though it's like "Ha ha, I don't read the comics and we're not basing it on that and we're just creating a character named Lex Luthor" which... I hope is only in the updating to Zuckerberg.
I'm that Terrio has replaced Goyer. I hope Terrio writes Luthor as the type of villain that does not see himself as the villain but rather the hero.
That's Mark Waid's Kingdom Come is so awesome. I doubt we'll ever see a live action film version of that story.
I vote for make freakin' Kingdom Come and to hell with having it fit into a shared continuity universe. "Here's Old Justice League. Spoiler alert: they got old". That's it! As for the persistent rumour that Jena Malone is playing Carrie Kelly aka Robin in BvS, I am a big fan of Jena Malone going back to Donnie Darko days (she's very pretty and very heartbreaking and she carries the movie's final moments with a sort of odd, knowing but not knowing sense of sadness) and she livened up the Hunger Games 2nd flick, so if she's playing Carrie Kelly (an apparently 30 year old Carrie Kelly but okay) in Batman v Superman, I am very onboard with that.
I wonder why we haven't heard anything about Cyborg since we know he's been cast. At least a picture of everyone but him.
I still just cannot get over Affleck as the B-man. It's just an affront to the character in my opinion, and unless Ben has been taking some acting lessons when we weren't looking, he's gonna tank the role worse than George Clooney.
