Battle Droids in Episode III?

Well, In Episode I, there was one kind of battle droid, and it was tan. In Episode II, the were two kinds of battle droids, Super Battle Droids,and the regular battle droids from Episode I, the regular BD's had changed there color from tan to a red/brownish color. So, is it safe to say in Episode III that the origanal BD's will change there color once again, along with a color change for the SBD's, and a new type of battle droid introduced. If so this would establish a type a pattern(Every movie the battle droids change color, and a new type will be introduced). Or will the whole "droid idea be abandoned, and be replaced with stormtroopers? The battle droid pattern may also be interpreted as symbolism.

Color Change: So far each regular battle droid has taken on a darken shade then the previous move. Episode I: Tan, light color, sybolizing Anakins innocence. Episode II: Tan, darker color, sybolizing Anakin's begining decent into the dark-side, revealing his Darker self. Episode III?: A new color droid, black perhaps, symbolizing Anakins final decent into the darkside.

I don't think so.
Between Ep II and III are like 2 years of heavy war.
There won't be something produced, or not many

 

I HATE BATTLE DROIDS

 

I love the look of those silver Battle droids shown in the picture above. But I doubt we'll get those.

I don't believe we'll see anything too different than what we've gotton. I know GL likes to give everything a new feel in every movie so that things aren't always the same everytime, so we might get something new.

 

The battle droids will be back but I doubt they will have another color change.

 

I wouldn't expect the battle droids to survive for very long in ep3. Once the Clone War is over, they should be pretty much extinct

 

Maybe those BD's, SBD's and Droidekas will have more firepower in III. Just like in modern warfare, the more time passes, the more (and more powerful) weapons are presented. From wooden clubs and stones to nukes.

 

Personally I don't belive we'll see any BD at all. The Clonetroopers will have wiped out most. IMO, naturally.

 

I think the battle droids, if they are in EP III, will not be in the movie for long. Lucas has to lead us to the OT where we did not see battle droids. He needs to show us why they aren't around any longer. I think we'll see near the beginning of EP III the complete destruction of the remaining battle droid armies.

 

Surely all kinds of BDs are in the film. For the first minutes at least, before the Grand Army levels out the last droid factory. That doesn't remove the possibility of superheavy ultrabattledroid with deflector shields and rocket launchers. Not that I really wanted to see that, but it's possible.

 

Who cares for battle droids I want to see Clonetroopers get Stormtrooper armor.

 

The black battle droids could be neat, but overall I hope they're used minimally. Lucas mentioned that we will see why the droids are not so great for fighting wars, and why human soldiers are better even though droids are cheaper, easier to produce, etc. So maybe they will be phasing out by Ep3.

Also, I really am not that impressed seeing these super skilled Jedis hacking up a bunch of hardware, it just does not give me a rush. I was rather disappointed that the big Jedi battle in AOTC was just another droid battle. Not that I want to see mass slaughter! I just want to see Jedi skills used against more worthy adversaries.
