Battlefront 2 help - Kashyyyk oil refinery

I'm playing Star War: Battlefront 2, and I'm on the Kashyyk level trying to save the oil refinery but it seems like no matter what I do, I can't save it. I've tried flying the ship and cn't save it, I've tried tossing thermal detonators at the entrances and that doesn't stop them. I've even resorted to cheat codes like invinciblity and unlimited ammo, but nothing seems to stop the CIS from destroying it.

This isn't really help, but why are they using oil as an energy source in the GFFA?

 

it's just a 'refinery' in the game, iirc. Doesn't say what it's refining.

Just park a tank directly in front of the refinery, dude, and concentrate on the vehicles and droids with rocket launchers. your dim-witted AI buds can handle the rest.

And if you think that level is hard, wait til you get to the Tantive IV.

 

I used to wonder about that also. It really sounds like it's oil, especially since the droids are attacking it and/or seemingly hoping it'll explode.

It took me a while to get past that level when I first started playing the game. Probably the hardest plateau in the game until you get to the Jedi temple or Hoth.

I guess this does belong in the official thread, though.
