Bi-Curious or Bi-sexual? Please explain to me...

It seems that many of the women, and some of the men here claim to be "bi-curious" I assume that means they have never had a relationship with another person of the same sex, but they are attracted to them.

Am I right, or way off base?

I think bi-sexual people are greedy, by the way.
This is not the thread for people that are homosexual, exclusively. Only people that are attracted to both.

Personally, I'm 100% straight, but I'm comfortable enough to say certain guys are attractive. But I'm not attracted TO them, though.

So post here if you are bi, and explain your position.

Cuz there are less straight people for those of us who are straight. Gay people or straight people leave the other half of the population free. Bi's don't.

Ok, well I am bi-curious. And no I havent had a relationship with another woman. But I am not opposed to the idea of a relationship with a woman. I would probably just have a threesome or a 'fling' with a woman.

 

I'm completely non-sexual. That's what happens when you've had "If you have sex you will get aids and die" drilled into your head since the 6th grade.

 

My ex-girlfriend used to tell me exactly the same thing. She called it "greedyism".

i tell you man, people who like all sorts of foods are really greedy. everybody should only ever eat pizza, because it's the only food i like.

 

Umm, no I'm saying pick one or the other. If half the people eat pizza, and the other half eat chicken, the people that eat pizza and chicken are greedier.

 

It's not "greedy", it's just "open-minded" and keeping our options open. Well, I should say their, not our.

I called myself "bi-curious" in a thread recently. And by that I don't mean that I'm bi. What I mean is that I'm straight, but I'm not opposed to the idea of potentially fooling around with a woman, most likely just as a casual sex only fling or a threesome. I don't see myself having a relationship with a woman, although I keep an open mind.

Basically for me it's about being open-minded and wanting to experiment. And it's about how many guys like the idea of lesbian/bi women, or threesomes, so if I say I'm open to the idea, more attention from my preferred sex.

I think that being at least open to the idea of being bi makes the most sense. I mean, you get more options that way, you aren't deathly opposed to threesomes with two members of your own sex, and you stop discriminating against people on the basis of gender. Not that I'm saying anyone who's strictly straight or gay is discriminating, but they are cutting out some options.

But like I said for me it's mostly a hypothetical attention thing. If I ever get a really good chance I may do something sexual or romantic with a woman, if I'm attracted to her. Which isn't too easy as I'm quite picky about women I find attractive, and I doubt most of them would be attracted to me in return (of course, I used to doubt that about guys, so...) But then again, maybe it's a pure hypothetical and I wouldn't even do it. It's difficult to know unless I'm given the chance.

I think as far as actual sexual orientation goes I'm basically 100% straight, but I also try to be open-minded. And so I called myself bi-curious. Maybe that's innaccurate...

While I maintain my stance that humanity would be better off asexual, I myself am heterosexual.

Straight people make me sick, and I'm straight, so you can only imagine how many times I've puked at the mere sight of my visage.

 

Put simply bisexual means the person find each sex attractive and will sleep with either.

Bi-curious is a mostly straight person who might find the odd person from the opposite sex but are unsure as they've only had hetero relationships.

I'm bi in that I don't care wether someone is male or female. I'm more interested in the person that what's between their legs. I'm not gready, I'll still only have one commited relationship at a time, and I like them to last as long as they can.

 

exactly. and your logic (beyond being a bit narrow-minded, which i guess is the point i was originally making) still makes no sense. unless you're assuming that bi people always have partners of both gender at the same time (chicken pizza). but then your logic can be equally applied to gay and straight people who have multiple partners. and those sorts of people, whether you label them cheaters or practioners of free love, aren't really off the market at all. are they?

only from a "glass is half empty" perpective, as it cleary could go both ways (ha!), ie.. you're a straight guy, there are bi guys out there who end up with other guys... more girls for you!

 

It is not as thoug bisexuals can just freely choose to be with anyone of any sex. Most straight people would not be with someone of their same sex, and vice versa for gay people. So, you are already looking at a narrowed down field for Bisexuals.

Unless they are so hot they could seduce people of other orientations.

 

I doubt it. They're only bi because they're so ugly they might as well have a pop at both sexes.
