I am creating a new saber design.. the design isnt so important, but if you need the information on it tell me. But the demisions are 9" long / 1 1/4" wide ... I was planning on having a wooden dowel[as this will be one of my first fanfilms], but I would REALLY REALLY love to have a blade that is more accurate[with ignition/color], without tech help. Any help on where I can get one?

I use plastic Piping- it's a little bit more flexible and less likely to break than a dowel, I think.

if your blade doesnt ignite yet, dont worry, it will in a few years. And anyway, I wish people would stop posting about how big their sabre is. its not a contest you know.

and the old saying is still true. its not how big your sabre is, its how comfortable it is to hold. :D

and thats an industry standard term too.

chubby goodness says it all of the time. :D :D

Get an extendable police batton, and cram it into the end of your lightsaber hilt. With a flick of the wrist you have a robust steel shaft.

They don't make 'em long enough, but 2WTF clarified that necessity already.

If that's not lightsabery enough for you, you could always buy a plasma torch.

Funk-E, you didn't say it right. It's 2WTF, not twtf. Especially when she's acting like that.

You know... 2WTF = WTF? WTF?

Edit: And if I can quote Jeff Foxworthy (on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour):

"The ladies have allt hese nice little phrases for us, like, 'It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean.'

That's nice, ladies, but I know that it takes a long time to get to England in a rowboat."

Lightsaber dimension discussions always reminds me of how hillbillies brag about their trucks for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I fancy a demolition derby now and then.

"It's not the size of the lightsaber, it's how you wield it." It sure is an old saying but it's like farting in math class, funny every time.
