Heya, does anybody read these two webcomics?

Bob and George is a very funny webcomic. The history of it is interesting enough to sustain the site itself. Basically, a man wanted to do a webcomic about his original characters Bob and George but made some mega-man sprite comics to pass the time before actually releasing his comics.

Unfortunately, by the time he eventually got to creating the actual webcomic he discovered that his art sucked and nobody cared for them. So he went back to making a Mega-man sprite comic. He would try again (and Fail again) before finally just inserting his original characters into a Mega-man webcomic.

While not a Megaman comic fan, I love the mockery of the sci-fi cliches prevalent in the game and in science fiction in general.

I also love his running commentary.

8-bit is a webcomic that is based (very loosely) on Final fantasy 1. The comic followers Fighter, Red Mage, Thief, and Black Mage on the...well they're not so much on a quest as they keep bumbling around people who mistake them for being on so. The only thing that saves them is their opponent Garland being even more pathetic than they are.

Rather infamous for the fact that Black Mage is the most truly genuinely evil of villains in the entire F1 series as portrayed but he's been somehow signed on this 'Light Warriors' mess.

Penny-Arcade isn't a video-game comic but its a comic about two guys whose entire life revolves around them (Except Star Wars). They're so popular that they actually have avatars here on the Force.net.

    I rank the comics as

    Penny Arcade
    8-bit
    Bob and George

But they all have areas where they excel over the others with the characters of Bob and George actually able to be cared about, 8bit having a continuing plot more tightly woven than Bob and George, and Penny Arcade just being THAT funny

I love Penny Arcade. I don't read it regularly, because I simply don't think to, but every few months I remember it, and have a blast going back through all that I missed and back to old favorites. It's a consistantly hilarious comic.

Though it turned away from games alot, PVP is worthy of mention.

Ctrl+Alt+Del used to be really funny, but it's just not as good anymore.

He still has good moments though, many of which are hilarious.

I used to love Game Marks, but it hasn't had a new strip in over 2 years.

Old Skool (with the NES sprites) can be freaking hilarious at times also, but needs to be more frequently updated.

I like PvP, but its too much of a traditional comic. Penny arcade is different.
