I was there when he did this. It was even funnier in person! Salvatore seems to take the kidding about killing Chewbacca a lot better these days. A few years ago he nearly ripped my head off for just mentioning Chewbacca.

it's not like he killed Darth Brian or anything i plead the time lapse -- it came out October 30, 2001... 7 months, but i guess if it's not yet in paperback...

 

I'm on chapter 22 of Vector Prime.

Sorry to say, Peter looks terrible. He has not aged well. The only time I saw him in person was in 1983 at a convention in San Jose; he looked much better back then. Of course, so did I...

 

I dunno, I saw him at Comic-Con last year and he didn't look that bad...must have been the lighting.
