ok so Boba Fett has and always will be the most Bad ass (ooo can i say the A word? sry to offend anyone. anyways) character of all time. But anyways on to my point, i have read the tales of a bounty hunter book which i have to say i enjoyed immensley but that only covered his lifespan from about ESB and a little bit farther than that...can anyone give me a list of books that would span his time from picking his poor fathers head up after mace windu cut it off to the time he died...i dont really recall him dying from anywhere i read...anyways yeah or if youd like turn this thread into an unofficial Boba history page...or timeline...either way any help would be appreciated..(and i thought i was a star wars fan...all you kool kid freaking know sooo much more than i do, i feel like a fareweather fan when i get on here...but oh well...thanks)

Boba Fett's early history is primarily covered the six Boba Fett young reader books (The Fight to Survive, Crossfire, Maze of Deception, Hunted, A New Threat & Pursuit) which span from during AOTC to a few months prior to ROTS.

His history between ROTS and ANH consists of various offhand references in a few sources (which were brilliantly all tied together into a cohesive history in The History of the Mandalorians article in an issue of SW Insider a few months ago) as well as cameo or supporting character appearances in the Han Solo Trilogy (paradise Snare, Hutt Gambit, Rebel Dawn), the Droids cartoon, etc.

The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy occurs during two time periods- one just after ROTJ and another just around ANH. And his short story in Tales From Jabba's Palace covers a little bit of time as well.

Everything else for Fett is set either post-ROTJ (Dark Empire, Boba Fett comics, etc) or shortly after ANH (a couple one shot issues of Empire, a cameo in Dark Forces, etc).

I was just about to make a thread asking a Fett question, but I'll ask it here instead.

Does anyone know what year Fett's daughter was born?

I never understood how he was a bounty hunter during the Clone Wars. Scholastic did a whole series on him. How? He was only ten in AOTC. Whatever, Jango was much better. IMO.

He's also in 4(I think it's 4) of the Young Jedi Knights books but I don't know which ones they are. And he had a cameo in The Unifying Force.

Oh and he'll be in the Legacy of the Force books.

Or so we were led to believe, all these years. And now it turns out it was actually his daughter. ;)

    Boba also appeared in:
    • The Jango Fett and Zam Wesell one-shot comics

    • Two Star Wars Adventures books:Jango Fett vs. the Razor Eaters and The Shape Shifter Strikes

    • The Jedi Readers-class picture book Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter

    • At least one The Last of the Jedi book

    • The Star Wars Holiday Special (of course)

    • Three Galaxy of Fear books: City of the Dead, The Brain Spiders, and The Hunger

    • The Jedi Dawn and The Bounty Hunter choose-your-own-adventure-type-dealies

    • Masters of Teräs Käsi

    • Battle of the Bounty Hunters

    • Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

    • "No Disintegrations, Please" in Tales from the New Republic

Not to mention what is essentially Boba Fett's "Killing Joke" story: "The Last One Standing: The Tale of Boba Fett" in Tales of the Bounty Hunters, which is broken up as follows:

    Sometime between 19 and 15 BBY: p. 277-279
    12 BBY: p. 279-287
    3 ABY: p. 287-293
    4 ABY: p. 293-301
    19 ABY: p. 301-339

They should not have done that; and secondly, if Moesta wrote "Fett laughed, his dry" it will come across now as a trans.

Fett made a short apperence in The Unifying Force, and will be in Karen's Legacy of the Force books, cause she's Mando crazed.

Also, there is an entire issue of Tales, #18, devoted to the Fett man.

I'm not sure of all the stories in the issue, but there are about five in the Star Wars Tales: Volume 5, here are some brief synapses

#2 in the Galaxy- About a group of bounty hunters trying to bring Fett down

Payback- He takes a job that ends up being a trap

Being Boba Fett- He takes a job, and ends up getting a tip on a Jedi to hunt *a very touching story*

The Way of the Warrior- Young Boba helps his dad on a bounty, and learns an important lsson for a bounty hunter

Revenants- Han crash lands on Raxus Prime, and kills Fett multiple times, but the bounty hunter keeps returning

They're all good stories, plus their are some other great ones in the collection

For my money, the best Fett fiction out there is still Daniel Keys Moran's stories from the KJA-edited "Tales from. . ." collections.

He and a team of Mandalorian commandos kick some major scarhead tail. He saves Han's life and makes a stupid comment about Jedi that annoyed me.

Ms Traviss loves Mandalorians and intends to include them in her Legacy books, at least.

    >> Does anyone know what year Fett's daughter was born?<<

As far as I can tell it hasn't been established yet- someone had said 10 BBY in another thread, but I don't see where in the Mandalorian article it indicates that figure. A lot fo speculation I've seen (and agree with) would be her being born during the supposed "happy period" of Boba's life sometime between 19 and 15 BBY when he may have given up bounty hunting for awhile (concord dawn, etc)- which would put her at a decent age after ROTJ.

    >>ok so he shows up in TUF??? i thought he was dead by now...during the tales of a bounty hunter his whole body was giving out on him, i figured hed be useless...<<

You'll recall in the TFTBH short story he was saving up for a new leg to be cloned to replace the cancer-ridden one. In the Mandalorian article, it establishes he goes to Kamino to get it-though Taun e asks for him to get rid of another Mandalorian who particpated in an attack on Kamino towards the end of the Clone Wars. The outcome isn't completely told but presumably he got his new leg afterwards.

    >>can someone please tell me his role, because i dont care about that spoiler...<<

Han and Leia cross his path onboard a station- though han doesn't recognize him since he's out of his armor. When the Vong arrive, Boba suits up and leads a new Mandalorian unit against the Vong. In the Mandalorian article, it was further elaborated that he became the new Mandalore after reforming the Manalorians and led them and their fleet against the Vong, defending/liberating several worlds.

    >>what will the legacy of the force books be about? if anyone knows...<<

    Basicly what we know is:

This is the era of Luke Skywalker's legacy: the Jedi Master has unified the order into a cohesive group of powerful Jedi Knights. However, as this era begins, planetary interests threaten to disrupt this time of relative peace and Luke is plagued by visions of an approaching darkness.

We also know Boba will be appearing in the series as well as Lumiya (the Dark Lady of the Sith from the Marvel comics).

I suppose so- might explain their rocky relationship.

    >>What the relationship between Boba Fett and his daughter are like?<<

She blames him for her mother's death and is trying to kill him.

Well, I haven't read the article everyone keeps talking about, but she hated him for some reason and tried to kill him, according to this website.

For like the first four books he doesn't do any bounties. He's 11 when he gets his first bounty, I think. He had to convince Jabba to let him have the assignment, and he goes and kills some petty thief he'd already had contact with. That was in book 4. Than in book 5 it's like 2 years later, and he's done a bunch of cruddy Tatooine bounties for Jabba, and earned the respect of the palace. He goes off to kill Wat Tambor, and fails. Than he tries to kill Mace Windu, and fails.

I'm the one who came up with the calculation that Ailyn was born 10 years BBY (based off of another site's claim that Sintas died six years ABY--supposedly when Ailyn was 16). If we go by my follow-up theory that Sintas was born at least 31 years BBY, then that would make Ailyn's parents both over 20 years old when their daughter was born.

    >>What 2nd means to say is that Boba took over when Mandalore Fenn Shysa died. He didn't reform anything, just took over. It was Fenn Shysa who reformed the Mandalorians.<<

I knew something had slipped my mind about that, thanks for the correction.

His "A Barve Like That" story from the Jabba's Palace anthology is unbeatable. Even I was impressed.
