Bossk's secret quest revealed.

I'm curious as to how many people know about the secret message behind Bossk's words in ESB. He speaks during Darth Vader's offer to the array of bounty hunter's onboard his Star Destroyer, which is, of course, Bossk's only line in the movie.

After Admiral Piett states: "Bounty hunters. We don't need that scum." Bossk, the Trandoshan bounty hunter, growls a response down to the deck where Piett is.

And, I'm fully serious, within that growl you can hear the words:

"Let's look for Alf."

You are right, "Alf" was only released in 1986.

So perhaps Bossk had some intuition?

Also ALF is an abreviation for Alien Life Form, and dose not necessaraly refer to Gorden Schumway from the hit TV show ALF.

Haha, so much difference there QuiGonTim. "Let's look for Alf" is a much better wording and is quite clear, I think. Sure, 'Alf' may refer to countless things, but where'd be the fun in that?

Well maybe if it took place a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, then maybe Melmac was in the GFFA and Melmac was under attack from the Trandoshan's(Bossk's species) and he had to escape destruction from Bossks so he left his Galaxy and came to ours. lol

To tell you the truth, I've never actually seen an episode of "ALF".



But I find it funny all the same.

 

How can you despise Alf it's hilarious I started watching it when I was a kid.

Though what you say intrigues me. A quick search and you seem to be very close. According to this on starwars.com, here, Bossk says: 'Res Luk Ra'auf'. Never knew that. However, to me, it will always be Let's look for Alf; it just sounds way to damn close.

Yeah I bet "For cool sir" is a hip slang phrase in trandoshen, that is if trandoshen is realy just backwords speeking.
