last christmas i asked my partner to get me clonewars on bluray, even tho i didnt have a bluray player i was happy that lucas film had taken thestep into the hd world and with the release of indy 4 in hd.

i havejust finaly got a bluray player and am really looking forward to clone wars season 1. i keep checking theforce.net for any news on the 6 films being released on bluray. the original trilogy wasnt released on dvd until prety much every home in the world had a dvd player so at this rate we could be looking at years.so i think if enough people boycott the sd set and just buy bluray lucas film might take note of this.

Well, I don't really think it's a matter of boycotting the DVD version. People will purchase the format they use, and in the end that will show LF how popular or not Blu-Ray currently is among SW fans. People with Blu-Ray players will naturally buy the Blu-Ray version. But you can't expect people who, for whatever reason, only have a DVD player to not buy the DVD box set in an effort to make LF release the 6 films in a format they don't even use yet. It simply makes no sense.

What Gry said - it's based on what people use. There's no way you're going to get someone with only a DVD player to boycott something to get them to release it in a format they can't use.
