Braveheart Uncut

On Bravo right now they are showing the great movie, Braveheart. It is included with deleted scenes inserted back in. Is this version on DVD? I'd like to know because I've been looking all over the internet and have foound nothing, I've been think about it for years and never saw this version on tv. I remember watching braveheart for the fisrt time when it came out on VHS, and I remembered one specific scene, where the english guy has Murron sitting down in the chair and he finds out she's married. This was on VHS, but what about DVD? The one I have is just the theatrical version.

 

Cable never shows uncut versions of anything. Unless it's crap like The Abyss.

 

Well it has commercials, but I mean that it has deleted scenes back in it.

 

It's Bravo, man. The gay channel. They PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT.


Unfortunately, I already saw a movie today, and any other movie would pale to the one I saw in comparison, because I saw Borat.

Any more chances to see Murron is good. She was beautiful.

 

Ah! I am watching this too and own the DVD version. I've been kind of distracted by the computer, but I haven't noticed any differences yet.

To answer your question...this very topic drives me crazy. Yes, the version(uncut) on Bravo is different than DVD version. I've looked it up. You cannot buy the uncut version on DVD at all. That is foolish, considering when u buy a DVD you should get the best version, which is the uncut. Great movie. My favorite movie, only after the OT. Anyone who has never seen Braveheart needs to watch it immediately. It will amaze you! Excellent film.

 

Ahhh. The execution scene was just on. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Always brings a tear to my eye. :'(

Not true. ABC usually shows the Harry Potter movies with the deleted scenes actually integrated into the movie. Something the DVDs don't even have.

EDIT: Upon re-reading that I've realized that my journey to becoming a complete geek is now complete.
