I was planning on getting him April 2nd, but tonight at Suncoast Video, I found him!

You can play trivia with him, he tells stories from the movies, and answers yes or no to your questions. His eyes, mouth, ears, and arms move. The only problem with his arms is that they sound like a forklift when they move, but this is a minor issue.

Bottom line, on April 2nd, make sure you put him in your shopping cart.

Yes, but WAY more than that. He actually moves.

His mouth goes perfectly with what he's saying. It's nothing short of amazing. I love this toy.

I'll try to get some pics later, but here's how he moves:

    Mouth while he talks
Ears lightly shake while he talks(just like the puppet from ESB)
Arms slowly move while he talks
    Eyes blink
Head bends down or moves up after meditation

Unfortunately, you have to buy him to watch him move. He's in try me mode in the package, and he has a limited amount of phrases in that mode.

What stories does he tell? Sounds great to me. I just wanted to see actual pics rather then ad pics on here. I read he is a foot high.

    Yep 12 inches.

He tells the story of all 6 Star Wars movies. He offered to tell me the story of ROTS, but I thought Yoda preached patience. :p

After May 19th, I'll listen to his ROTS story.

You press one hand to go through each of the choices, then press the other hand for which one you want.

    Anyway, here's a couple pics I took:

    Size matters not

    Talking

I also forgot to mention that he has a small button on his left foot. So when you pick him up off the table, he says "going somewhere, are we?"

Nice thanks for the pics. He is really detailed for 30 bucks then add on the movement and speach. Its nice to see the new star wars toys bringing back the cool new toy ideas like they used to have. He does though look like the OT yoda and not the PT yoda. Which is fine by me. Do his eyes move too?

No, he just blinks his eyes.

If this guy walked around he would easily be the best Star Wars toy of all time. Maybe that will be in the next version. :p

He's pretty loud. I shut the door in my room and I could still hear him.

But again, his arms moving are pretty loud. It kind of brings it down a little.

Definitely a step up from the last talking Yoda! Looks pretty good, but I think I may wait to see if he ends up going on sale before I consider dropping any cash for him.

    DarthMak,

Can you state unequivocally that this toy uses Frank Oz's voice and not an impostor?

Also, does the toy work the same way as the other Talking Yodas by pressing his sweaty palm?

    Thanks for your reply.

It's not Oz, but it sounds pretty close.

Also, does the toy work the same way as the other Talking Yodas by pressing his sweaty palm?

Yep, squeeze his hand. And yes he does give the mandatory "mmm, squeeze too hard you have" or "mmmhmm tickled me you have" replies.

I just got him today, really really great.

If you keep him in the air long enough he says things like.

"Dislike this I do! Put me down you will!"

His face moves so real, I love the stories he tells, I suggest any Yoda or collector fan to buy this.

Oh, my friend said he had some in the back of his store. I gave him some money and he got it for me.
