Can someone help me with the mystery surounding the clone army.............

I am writing this question in order to gain a clearer perspective on something. In Episode II, after the big battle in the collosium between the Jedi and the droids,Master Yoda swooped in to rescue the survivors, with him he had the clone army.(which they knew nothing about) The Viceroy, Nute Gunray and Count Dooku(Lord Tyranus) escaped and meet in their battle room and this was the conversation that took place;

Nute Gunray : The Jedi have amassed a huge army!
Count Dooku : That doesn't seem possible. How could the Jedi come up with an army so quickly?

How is it that this clone army became so secret? The Jedi Council new nothing of the clone army either. Master Sifo-Dyas commissioned a clone army from the Prime Minister of Kamino,Lama Su more than 10 years earlier,the archives were altered and could only have been done so by a Jedi, I'm guessing Sifo-Dyas,but he was creating the army for the Repubic so why the secrecy? Also, Jango Fet was contracted by Lord Tyranus who knew of each other, so why didn't Jango Fet tell Lord Tyranus of the clone army being amassed by Lama Su?
Very puzzling this is.

If the answer to this question gives away any part of Episode III then please don't respond. I don't want to know anything about Episode III, I am on pins and needles waiting for the release day! Thanks Guys

Without going into ep III spoilers, in AOTC it is revealed that Dooku is Tyranus when he goes back to Coruscant and sees Lord Sidious. Dooku knows about the army because he hired Jango to be the clone daddy prior to AOTC. However, he is not telling the Neimoidians that he knew all about the army.

 

I asked a similiar question on another thread. The answer I received I am pasting bellow (was from someone named Matt-Trooper):

Count Dooku is Darth Tyranus.

So when Dooku recruited Jango, he did so under the name of Tyranus.

And in the battleroom, Dooku was lying about now knowing how the Jedi got the army. He couldn't say "Oh yeah, my Sith Master and I are playing both sides of the war." He had to appear as shocked as everyone else.

Finally, Jedi Master Syfo Dias didn't place the order for the clones. He was killed (presumably by Dooku), Dooku placed the order under his name, and then erased the Kamino file before leaving the Jedi Order.

ok douko play stupid and planed the hole thing to the detail. Douku is darth tyranos, the man who recruted jango, that also puts more evidence that the whole war was planed by the sith, they knew that they culdnt kill all th jedi so the got a war to do it for them while the emporor got his emercency power to control the senet and senetors have nothing to do but nothing. and the sith control the univers no prodlamo, but some are wondering how the jedi didnt it was because they were weak and had no power, well at least yoda and mace. THE WAR WAS PLANNED TO DESTROY THE JEDI.
