I was wondering, in the times of the OT, there were virtually no jedi. So if you were allergic to bacta and there were no jedi healers, would you pretty much die if mortally injured?

If allergic to bacta, would you develop hives? Get a black tongue?

Are we all screwed if we are allergic to bacta? I must know!!

It's like being allergic to penicillin, you can get a little silver braclet to alert paremedics.
    Then mabe they use sinthetic-hypoalergenic-bacta.

you stole my answer Fisto. There are other healing fluids such as Kolto which can only be found on the water world of Manaan from KOTOR 1.

In a day and age of lightsabers and lasers, you think allergies are going to get in the way? :p

Wow, you are a true Star Wars nerd. Congratulations! :p

Seriously though, allergies. They can kill. Dreams mostly, and maybe confidence. What do you think is the suicide rate in the GFFA?

From what I interpreted from the game it sounds like Kolto is a more powerful healing agent than Bacta.

    Talking about Kolto...

Kolto is in KotOR 1 and 2, because in number 2 you wake up in a Kolto tank at the start, very similiar to the Bacta tank. And also, Kolto might not be around in 4000 years later, because in the first KotOR you can destroy a whole Kolto station!

To give a direct answer: Yes, you can be alergic to bacta.

If you read the X-Wing Series of Novels by Michael Stackpole and Aaron Allston, there is a pilot named Ton Phanan, who is indeed alergic to bacta.

    Ton Phanan
