Carlos Mencia: A fake!

I've learned,after checking out a few websites,that Carlos Mencia really isn't Mexican,he's a German/Honduran guy who's real name is Ned Holness,and has stolen jokes from a number of comics in the industry,even from George Lopez! I never watched his show much before,but I certainly won't now.

How lame do you have to be to steal jokes from George Lopez?

 

His show is some of the most ineffectual crap I've ever seen.

 

Dur.

Anyone who watches the show would know that he is honduran...

And its the best show on TV, ever.

Even better than Chappelle's Show because Dave walked out on a 50 million dollar deal and left millions of fans unhappy just because he didn't feel like showing up.


Carlos is probably the funniest guy on TV.

 

Fake he may be, but he's still got more going for him than larry the cable guy.

 

I think he's okay. And what's wrong with thinking George Lopez is funny?

 

What websites did you check, Overlord? I'm not accusing or anything, I'm just curious.

 

I like George Lopez, and I don't really care of Mencia is Honduran or Cuban or Mexican, whatever as long as I get a laugh from his show I am happy.

PS- Chappelle agreed to make new episodes again with Comedy Central, new ones will be airing sometime in '06.

His Show is crap, but his stand up is HILARIOUS

Actually I've seen Lopez's stand-up on TV a couple times and I found it hilarious, and I'm not Mexican at all. Some of the ethnic jokes got lost on me, but some of them I understood. And besides that, he's got really good delivery.

 

Now thats funny!

 

Wait, wait. So you mean to say someone on television is pretending, nay acting, like someone different to their real self?

 

In this age of 'reality' television I suppose the concept is difficult to accept or acknowledge.

Personally I don't watch the show because the man isn't funny. The only two good programs on Comedy central are the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

OMG How can you think this hack is funny?!?!?! I cant watch him for more than 5 seconds. Every other joke is some cliche about mexicans, get some new material you stupid jerk hack moron stupid idiot. I cant tell who i want to die more him or Larry the Cable Guy.

 

It seems to me that nearly every friggin' joke on Comedy Central these days is about race. WTF is up with that?

 

He steals jokes from the internet, too. That's just sad.

 

Seriously, I think racisim only exists because otherwise comedians wouldn't have anything to say.

 

I watched a couple minutes of his show once. He smashed an N64. I was deeply offended.

I think Mencia is kinda funny but I think The Showbiz Show with David Spade is alot funnier...
