One of my favorite characters in the EU. She starts as a misguided Jedi agent, gets possessed by a Sith, and by the end of her Journey she has trouble controlling Muur, attacks Luke, and chillingly uses Sith magic. WHat would you call her? Sith? Jedi? Dark Jedi? Gray Jedi? Discuss.
Ultimately she was trying to stop Muur. It's not her fault really that he was not strong enough sometimes.
I shall just call her Celeste Mourne she is to unique for just sticking a tag on her, though "fallen" Jedi might fit.
Well she was a part of the Jedi Covenant and they were not your typical light side Jedi considering their sometimes absurd faith in visions and prophecies. She had good intentions however, so I'll go with Jedi basically. It was not her fault for using the power of the talisman. She used it as a weapon against the sith and imperials as best as she could, so I wouldn't call her a dark jedi, and most certainly not a sith.
Jedi/Fallen Jedi, though it is only due to having an ancient Sith Lord eating away at her psyche for years. Not her fault to be sure. She was one of the best characters introduced in the Old Republic comics.
We need more things like Vector I want muh Great Talisman spotlight. What does it do? How is it stronger? Does it create Nekogouls?
I think my view was that, like the rest of the Covenant, she believed she was doing the right thing -- and (unlike Zayne's masters) successfully resisted any dark side acts until the Talisman took control of her. Choosing against killing Zayne -- and choosing to protect him from the Talisman -- was definitely a Jedi act. Afterward -- well, legally, they might call it "diminshed capacity." She's not in control of her actions.
