Hello, my name is Rob. You can call me Rob or Budge.

I'm a Star Wars fan because of the escape that it brings to my life. It's an entire universe that has nothing to do with my everyday life. I can let myself get away from my stresses and worries by reading a book or watching the movies. That release is so full and rich that it's much easier than another series.

My favorite thing about Star Wars is that it's something that I've grown up with. As a kid I watched Star Wars with my friends. I had the movies memorized. it reminds me that I can still act like a kid some of the time.

My favorite non-Star Wars thing is sports in general. I love Hockey, and Baseball, and Basketball. Football, not as much but I still watch it and can carry on an intelligent conversation it.

I also like all the F u n k y C o l o r s , cause they annoy Amy.

My name is Mary and I'm the city rep, not like the title doesn't give that away.

Let me think, the reason I like Star Wars. Well, it's always been in my life. It's something my dad, my older brother and myself all had incommon and it was something that we could share and still share.

Things I like other than Star Wars, hmmmm. Is there anything? I do alot of volunteer work and charity work so helping others is another one of the many things I do.

Thing I most like about Star Wars: Yikes! How am I supposed to answer that one? "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways." Sheesh. Alright, I'll give ONE reason why I love Star Wars. I love the way that I can immerse myself in another universe. I can imagine all the epic struggles and battles. In some ways, the stunning vistas of Star Wars sometimes give a me little peek into my own reality. I'd better stop before I really get going.

Reason for being a Star Wars fan: I do if for the lucrative endorsements.

Something I love other than Star Wars: my wife (she shall hitherto be known as The Beautiful One). (L)

 

My nickNAMe is REVIEW! (I go by the earth name of cody, although my true name is vERY different...)

I think that my "fan-dom" of starwars must have started when i was just a little kid. I remember the first time I watched starwars and the complete connection I felt between myself and it, much more than you people could ever understand. (You may find this next part hard to believe, and will probably even be jealous of me. But you must understand it's truth.)

From that time on I felt like starwars spoke directly to me, and I even became a practicing jedi because of it. If I concentrate just hard enough I can do things with my mind, and I have even been known to manipulate and make my television do exactly what I want it to.

AFter some heavy research, I have concluded that I am Luke skywalker's unborn baby, and that my spirit came back to live in this galaxy for a purpose. I hope I can bring some of my light to the people of this galaxy, and that one day I will be able to return to my true father and fully learn the ways of the force.

My time is spent at BYU-Hawaii which is where I am currently residing as we speak. I post on this board because no one can stop me.

Things I like about star Wars: I grew up when the movies were released, I still have them on my beta player. I love the Toys, and the Books.

Other Things I like: Other Movies, Transformers (toys and cartoon), My Wife, and last but not Least My Pets. Also the Get Fuzzy Comic Strip

My grandmother took me to see ESB in the theater when I was 3 and I got hooked. Enough said. The thing I like about Star Wars is that it works on so many levels-- Action, adventure, politics, religion, romance even! That's one helluva big story. I love the EU and have read all the books and most of the comics.

Aside from SW, I enjoy: Drawing, graphic design, reading, MUSIC, movies and my girlfriend. Hehe...

Why I like Star Wars: I guess it goes back to when I was 4. The Empire Strikes Back is the first movie that I can remember seeing, and I have been hooked ever since. After that, me and my friends were always playing with the toys, or making up our own adventures in our back yards. I always had to be Luke Skywalker. I love the scope of the saga, the themes of good and evil, family, mythology, fall and redemption.

Also, my parents divorced when I was very young, and I think that I used Star Wars as an escape. It's alot of fun for me. I can pop in a movie, read a comic or novel, or collect the toys and other memorabilia, and be transported into that universe. It always brightens up my day.

Why I like Star Wars: I grew up with it, had the toys when I was little. As I grew older, the redemption aspect has really appealed to me. Probably why Vader is my fav.

Something Else: I'm my family's goto and fixit guy for computers.

hello all! you can call me ondiv, which is vidno backwards. in real life you can call me what ever you want, i respond to everything but "hey, you, the one that looks like the model!"...because i know you're just after my money.

ok, what is my favorite thing about SW. easy. i gave a kid of mine(one that i nannied for) a JarJar doll for christmas last year. as he tore into the wrapping he squeled with delight, "JARJARJARJARJARJAR!!!" i love how these films bring joy to those of us who can remember SW twenty years ago, and those who see it for the first time this year.

I've always been a fan, but why am i a "wait in line for a week to get a ticket" fan. well, its all because my older brother left a book on the coffee table seven years ago. the book was Ambush at Corellia by Roger Macbride. i've been hooked like fish ever since.

I love all things scottish- im an accomplished swordsman- i used to teach fencing, trained in broadword techniques as well. I act, write and adore film. thats enough i guess.

Favorite thing about Star Wars: Lightsabers, definately lightsabers. Jedi are cool and beyond. I also like the technology as well.

Why I'm a Star Wars fan: It brings some escape to my often too hum drum life.

Something I like that isn't Star Wars: I like programmming.
