The fright-filled "Final Destination" franchise returns to theaters in the supernatural thriller "Cheating Death: Final Destination 3". Set six years after the original "Final Destination" film, the latest installment in the series centers around a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal roller coaster accident involving herself and all her friends. When the premonition proves true, those who have "cheated death" and survived the accident are forced to deal with the repercussions of escaping their fate.

Either way, I hope this is more of the same.

 

Well just look at other franchises with the word Final in them, like Final Fantasy.

 

I always wonder how they come up with the crazy death scenes.

I reckon the writers sit in a room and get baked and the ideas flow much like on That 70's Show

 

They can't make up their mind ... just like the dudes who made Rocky!

 

Final Fantasy isn't even in my library. I see your point though .

The reason they called it Final Fantasy was that SquareEnix was about to go bankrupt, and if the game wasn't a success it would have been their final game.

Saw the first one but never saw the second...heard about most of the deaths though.

I don't really have any intrest to see this one.

 

if the death scenes (and all the "coincidences" leading up to them) are as entertaining as in the second, I'll watch this

loved the chain reaction thing on that field, the death by airbag, the smashed kid and the end in the second

 

I see, if their fans we're like me about the game, they would bankrupt .

I loved the first FF game, tis great. I have it for the GBA, I think I'm too you too remember it's original release.

 

are those movies supposed to be kind of funny? because i found both of them hysterical. especially the teachers death in the first one. she gets stabbed, electrocuted, glass slits her throat, and lit on fire. i mean, how many things can go wrong?

 

Someone stop Hollywood from making sequels and remakes.

That was the best death, IMO. I think it was really well done, the whole chain reaction thing that is.

 

A fatal rollercoster accident? Man,they're really stretching it for scenarios for people to escape death.

 

Well you know Fabio was almost killed on a roller coaster once. That bird has earned a special place in my heart.

 

Can Stifler come back and get killed again?

 

The death scene in the last one confused the hell out of me. All of a sudden a grill exploded out of no where and hand flew on to the table.
