I collect religious tracts, Chick Tracts are some of my favourites. Particularly the evolution one.

This is actually quite funny, and nothing like what really happens in a coven.

That one "The Gay Blade" it doesn't mention that Lot was willing to throw his virgin daughters out to that crowd, nor does it mention the fact that the angels said the people wouldn't be able to see them.

 

There are also the Dianics, but I see them as rather one-sided.

This one about Catholicsm

 

That one was from "Dark Dungeons", the chick track warning of the evils of Dungeons and Dragons. Elfstar was the character's name, which then became the protagonist's name. Hence the (in)famous "I don't want to be Elfstar anymore, I want to be Debbie!

If I could have occult powers, but would have to be known by the name of my first D&D character... I'm thinking no.

 

They make my eyes bleed.

 

I didn't relize how violent Chick gets in some of these. The underlying message is the samw however. This particular character suffered but found God and was saved after all that suffering inferring that if she did not find God she would not have been happy after all that suffering.

The D&D one is classic and quite amusing. I was just reading a bit about Undermountain this morning. Oh noes!

 

That is so funny! I wish I had that one. Especially with my name and whatnot.
We do however, have some pagan Chicks. One's entitled "The Other People"

 

I remember reading online a review about the one about homosexuals I posted earlier, and that person said that the way they have gay people dressed in that tract, that no self-respecting gay man would dress like that.

Just wanted to point that out.

 

What disturbed me was all the people dying in these tracts and THEN being helped, is it too bad to help people while they are alive?

 

That was my point. Suffer, suffer, suffer more, then get help but only because you believed.

 

I know. Chick tracts are like those Christian Hell Houses that tour the United States during the Halloween season and scare kids into religion, when it should be something natural and they want to do.

 

Everytime I hear these "follow out way or go to hell" messages, it makes me want to bash my head against a wall.
