So who is dale and how does his destiny tie in with Indy?

So I'm a few days late to the trailer release party. It was mixed for me. Loved seeing a shot of Indy in the classroom and loved the ending with the humor of Indy realizing he's brought a whip to a gunfight (complete with one of the classic Indy "uh-oh..." Ford facial expressions!)

I'm a bit worried about some of the apparent CGI action effects (like the horseback shot). But I thought the de-aged Indy looked really good and I have no problems with it being used for flashbacks/time travel segments.

My love of Harrison Ford (and Indy in particular) is so deeply imprinted from childhood that I have no problem getting on the hype train at this point lol. I just hope I'm not disappointed like I was with Crystal Skull.

That's the best trailer I've seen today and I've seen three.

 

I think it looks great but of course the usual people over on YouTube are freaking out and making a big deal over that scene/line concerning capitalism. I'm still going to see this opening week preferably opening weekend if possible.

 

Time travel is always risky in a story, hopefully it will work

 

He never did say what they should do with them in the museum.

 

I still haven't changed my mind on the time travel aspect of this film - i'm still not convinced it's a good idea.

Well cast, well filmed, and overall the Indy "vibe" is there...but I dunno.

I'll be there, in any event.

 

Why would you time travel in Indiana Jones?

 

Yeah if anything time travel is bad for archeologists think how much money museums would lose out on if you can just DeLorean and see the real deal

 

So it’s basically going be like a 25 minute version of that scene in The Irishman (a film I generally love) where Robert De Niro fails to convincingly beat up a grocer?
