Seems like she'll be a recurring figure in the Batch's adventures. More Rhea Perlman is always welcome. We'll see though if her relationship with the Batch remains mutually beneficial or if she'll turn on them.
They should get a role for Danny Devito ,lol. But its interesting that a few actors from Cheers made their way onto Star Wars over the years. As far as Cid, kinda reminds me of the bar tender from Resistance and Pelli from The Mandalorian.
I'd be amused if one of Cid's patrons ends up being voiced by George Wendt...John Ratzenberger would be too "on the nose" for this show. Have we encountered female Trandoshans in past media? I like Cid's character, and how they've been given a sort of base of operations there on Ord Mantell.
I had to see the credits to find out what made Cid's voice so familiar. If Ratzenberger and Rhea Perlman did a bit on this show, I would think it's too obvious they were doing a sort of "Cheers" reunion.
No more obvious than when they did a Rome reunion with Kevin McKidd and Ray Stevenson, or a Scooby Doo reunion with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar, both in Rebels. Not like kids watching the show have any idea about those old shows, so it'd just be a little wink to adults aware of the connection.
Well, you win. Does it feel good to be victorious? I still don't agree with your assertion, but you win.
Not trying to win anything, just having friendly conversation. Lol yes, don't know how I mixed that up.
Love Sid! Just love her. I find her to be an echo of Hondo. I sure hope they develop her character out over the course of the series.
Um... didn't CX-2 imply that he'd tortured the intel out of her...? Considering how awful she clearly felt when last we saw her, my hope is that she gave CX-2 a real hard time, and went out defiant.
