In both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, all of the clone troopers were digitally created. Their voices were provided by Temuera Morrison, who also provided the face for Commander Cody, Odd Ball, and Captain Jai'galaar, wearing a blue bodysuit that would be replaced in post production by the character's clone trooper armor.

I'm interested in providing the faces for every Clone Commander that involves wearing a blue bodysuit that would be replaced in post production by the character's clone trooper armor to produce better, and accurate versions of the helmetless clone troopers, as well as clone pilots seen in Episode III. I also am interested in providing the voices of all the clone troopers. I have a Star Wars/Star Trek/Half-Life crossover fan film produced from cutting-edge digital art, Fan Wars: The Half-Life Wars.

    Thank you?

What exactly are you asking? Or offering? You say you're "interested in providing", so are you offering your ..."services"...? Or are you requesting them from someone?

I think that one of the biggest mistakes they ever made was showing Jango and the troopers without their helmets on. It totally wrecked the mystery and fear that Stormtroopers and Boba Fette conveyed. When did those dudes EVER remove their helmets?!?

On top of that. The whole idea of having Morisson's face superimposed over a CGI character was a royal screw up that didn't need to be made. Like building a costume was too much trouble? Like that looked more realistic?!? Please... Every time they showed Cody standing there, it looked so fake it pulled me right out of the realism of the scene.

I curse ILM for that stupidity.

What does this have to do with what the starter of the thread is talking about? I don't know. But then... I don't know what he was asking about anyway. I just figured it was a good opportunity to get on my soapbox.

If nothing else, maybe this post will make you think twice about the need to have troopers with their helmets off anyway.

How sure are you that it was ILM's idea to show the clonetroopers with their helmets off, and not George's?

I believe he was cursing for ILM for the fakeness surrounding Cody standing there - not so much the Helmets. I'm sure that was George's call.

You need to clarify what you're asking/discussing here, Bryan, or I'm going to close this thread.

I guess what he's trying to do is to replace his actors body with armor and etc.

Yes, but he also seems to have it all figured out, too. He has a habit of posting what are really just announcement "This is what I'm going to do" threads, which are unacceptable. He also rarely does any kind of responding in said threads, treating them as simple announcements and leaving them for the rest of us to discover. Either he's asking for information or ideas, in which case he needs to clarify, or I'm closing this thread.

How is him announcing what he is working on different then someone announcing they have a fanfilm, or are releasing one?

In the first case, it's not, and if you haven't noticed we try to discourage that. When someone makes a habit of posting fan film announcements that never go anywhere, they get a stern talking-to and those threads are locked. So you're right, this is very similar.

In the case of releasing one, I think you know the difference between releasing a final, completed project and announcing a hypothetical one.

    I'm interested in providing

Sounds to me like he either needs help figuring out how to do it for his film, or wants to do it for other people who may need it.

    My 2 cents.

I'm clarifing that what you're asking/discussing here is about the use of the blue bodysuit that will be replaced in post-production with any clone trooper armor.
