I love me the Ren Fest!!!! I go at least once every year. I'd certainly be interested in this. It'll depend on how my schedule shakes out. I've... I've finally caved in, and begun looking for a... for a job (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! and/or DO NOT WANT!!!!!!).

Anyhow, yes I'm interested.

 

Just ask for those days off during the interview. Employers really like employees who can plan ahead!

I will be working the WOTR B-17 event that weekend.

I might go Sunday, depending on whether or not I'm moving that weekend.

 

Looks like a bunch of us are going for Celtic weekend on Saturday, June 25.

 

We are still wanting to do the 11th or 12th. I would prefer the 11th. Thoughts? Anyone want to go?

The 11th I wanted to go to the KBPI car show, they are going to have a concert for children hospital but I haven't heard them talking about Blink 182 & forgot the other big name.......

Would we want to do something the next day too?

 

OK, so I can't get dh to go to the car show/ concert on Sat he said he would rather go to the fair. Anyone have the low down yet? Carpools? Pack lunch? Ideas?

 

I was thinking of being there at 10am, and we were going to pack our lunch.
No carpooling for us, our car just doesnt have the room to comfortable fit everyone, plus we never know when the child will be "done".

 

To get the BOGO next weekend looks like we need a coupon from Wendy's I'll run by one today and see if I can pick some up. Hopefully they have some left....

 

I love Renn Fair. Let's see if I can convince JT.

 

Assuming I'm not coughing up a lung still I'm in! Need to check w/ JoC see what the plan is.

 

Saturday is rain??? Temps will be nice & low, but the weather up there gives me migraines, will watch the weather guessers and see.

dh also wants to not carpool, we can come & go as we please, he also doesn't want to pack a lunch to have to walk out to the car because all you do is walk all day anyway??? I will see what I can talk him into.

Us going all depends on costume & prop orders, heat & leaving our dog I'm about 50/50 right now.

 

my lunch will consist of a turkey leg.

i just looked and it says isolated and only 30% chance of storms...not too bad.

 

I want to go. I can't stay too late, because I need to be home that evening as my Dad, brother and sister are all leaving the country the next day.

Wish I had a costume though. All my renaissance ones don't fit

 

I was thinking about going as a muggle, but let me look maybe we can figure something out for you...do you have just a regular corset...i have an extra skirt, it's gold. i have an old corset i was working on, but it is all torn apart. it wouldn't take much to put it together, but i don't know.....

 

I think I am gonna go for Celtic Weekend.

 

So are a lot of other people Still not sure about us, not that CVI has been announced we've been getting ordrs like crazy & I have like 4 costumes in mind and want to get started NOW on them........

Celtic weekend Saturday is the same day as the Hearse Con car show. Bugger.
