I don't know these things for sure so I have a question.

I have heared something awhile ago that they are part of the order on the coruscant, but then again don't follow all the rules of the Council. What's up with that? I also heared that they are allowed to love and marry: is this true? If so then what source has posted that info?

Thanks for answering these questions. if there is already a topic about it then delete this 1 and link me :).

    *ignites lightsaber of truth*

Corellian Jedi are a small group (probably no more than 30-40) of Jedi Knights that are restricted primarily to the Corellian Sector that while they swear loyalty and fidelity with their fellow Jedi Knights

(Note I don't say Fealty though Adi Gallia is a pair of Corellian diplomat's daughter)

Are nevertheless possessed of their own peculiar set of traditions Luke touched upon. Marriage, Families, and so forth being so respected in Corellia is one of these things.

They fought with their fellow Jedi during the Clone Wars and when the Anzati Nikko Tykis arose a mixed company of Nejaa Halyclon, A Camasaii Jedi, and believed Anakin Skywalker or Obi Wan Kenobi (fan theory) defeated him.

They don't seem to prostetlyize and are supported by the Corellian government alone (which remained neutral in the Clone Wars-which probably lead to a schism)

At least one parent is near-human Corellian citizen however, :).

The Corellian Jedi are talked about a bit in I, Jedi when Corran learns more about his family. Don't really know what other sources they appear in.

I don't think they are restricted to Corellia, as the article states.

<<"Our commitment is to the Jedi Council ">>

They only disagree with the council on certain matters.

Well thanks alot for the info so far. So it is ok for Corellian Jedi to marry? What does the Council think of this?

To answer your question. It is not at all problematic for Corellian Jedi to marry. It seems to be one of their traditions

Neeja Halcylon is the only one we know though and it is odd though that his wife is not known to be the wife of a Jedi Knight

It seems possible that being a Jedi is "profession" for these guys

with time spent with their families done away from the public eye

On the other hand "Jedi credit" could mean that the familiesof Corellian Jedi are national celebrities as well since they mint the equivalent of a stamp for the,

? Well thanks alot for the info so far. So it is ok for Corellian Jedi to marry? What does the Council think of this??
The Council didn?t hav much to say on the matter, nor could it. The Corellian order is a separate order, allied with the main order, but not directly a part of it.

So to sum it all up:

Corellian Jedi are a seperate order within the normal Order. They have certain traditions like getting married that other Jedi can't do.

This info is from Holonet and the novel I, Jedi.

Few remaining questions now this is cleared up:

    1. Are those 2 the only sources? Or does Insider talked about this also? if so, what issue?
    2. Can a Corellian Jedi be based on the temple on Coruscant to give lightsaber training to Padawans/Younglings?

As the HNN article states, the Jedi are returning to the temple - there shouldn't be any reason for them not to interact with other Jedi/Padawans. In I, Jedi the clones wars showed Neeja, Ylenic and 'Desertwind' work together.

Remember though, there probably aren't a huge amount of Corellian Jedi - as only 12 returned to the temple after the secession.

Also, Stass Allie is a Corellian, and was at Geonosis.

Since they are allowed to marry and have children I guess that instead of taking Padawans they train their own children. Like Nejaa Halcyon did with his son Valin Halcyon (Hal Horn).
We know that Nejaa worked with CorSec and that he avoided, when possible, to reveal his Jedi side. I assume that there was no superior Jedi Organ to control the Corellian Jedi, it is my guess that they were scattered families working to maintain order in the Sector. It's implied that there were more Jedi families in Corellia in I, Jedi. The fact that Rostek could have covered them implies a small number a dozen, or two dozen, perhaps?
There is, IIRC, a Clone Wars-era short story by Stackpole in which Halcyon does appear. You might want to look for information there, since Aalya Secura also appears I guess that Corellian Jedi and normal Jedi would, if circumstances demanded it, work together.
A schism, is also possible, considering that Corellia closed itself right before the Clone Wars, so the participation of Corellian Jedi would be limited.

Actually, I'd assume that they would take Corellian padawans not taken in by the main body of the Jedi order. That is to say any potential Jedi the main body would deem too old to begin training or who they get to first. They'd certainly be likely to get to their own children first, so they'd take them on. But if they don't have any children, or their children are full grown and fully trained, then they would be likely to take on a new padawan from the Corellian sector.

<<Kast Morben, where does it say only 12 Corellian Jedi returned to Coruscant after the secession?>>

Whoops. In the HNN article it acually says two-dozen (24) rather than 12.

It's also interesting that the Corellian Jedi seem to follow their politicians more than the Jedi Council, for when Garm Bel Ibis left the senate, the Corellian Jedi pulled back to Corellia as well.

And indeed the Jedi of Corellia are appearing to be much more interesting indeed. So I now am about to change the background of my Jedi Character in my Fanfic. He was first from Taanab, but now he is a Corellian :). Guess I will use the planet Taanab for something else.

And it is indeed interesting to see how they follow their politicians much more. But then again they dont serve a corrupt system ;).

No, it's the other way round. According to the article, when Corellia secedes, the Jedi return to the temple.
