Sue Rostoni just said this on Star Wars message boards. First novel appears in May 2006, second May 2007 and third in May 2008.

It's not a trilogy, and I assume these are the post-Episode III books (we only knew there was going to be one till now)?

No she only said they will always have the same main characters.

    I remember those days.

I would walk into a bookstore and go, "Yippe! A New Star Wars book!"

    Ah, the memories. :)

    Coruscant Nights? Coruscant Nights!?

What is this, tacky title week or something?

The 1 year wait between the books should be...interesting, at least. And Reaves will spin us a marvelous tale to boot, I'm sure of it.

    Coruscant Nights! Like Coruscant Days!

Heh, sorry about that. But I don't mind this title, not at all. One a year isn't too bad either, what with the Denning trilogy and the nine book series coming out at the same time. Spread the cost and all, we're not made of money. :p

This is now the 4th book Micheal reeves will be writng. Wow he's in the same boat as Denning.

Yeah, it seems that Denning and Reaves are becoming the "main guys" as of late when it comes to the EU. Seeing as I love their books, I think it's great.

Coruscant Nights! Like Coruscant Days![/b][hr][/blockquote]I'm having major, sudden Hasselhoff Flashbacks after seeing this title.

(Although Reaves is a writer worth his gelt, and I highly doubt he'd inflict such misery upon the fennery.)

This is all Sue Rostoni has said about it so far.

"May: First of the Michael Reaves mass market paperbacks now known as CORUSCANT NIGHTS. It's not a trilogy -- it's 3 stand-alones featuring the same main characters. They come out May 06, May 07, May 08."

"It takes place very shortly, like within the first couple months, after RotS."

Hm. So *this* is the post-ROTS stuff he's doing. All right, then.

Still...a title like "Coruscant Nights" rather belies the implied dramatic urgency of the purge-era -- but then again, this guy *did* write for Dini's Batman and show-ran Gargoyles.

    He knows from "nights."

    Coruscant Nights? Coruscant Nights!?

I'm guessing that it's a reference to the Arabian Nights.

I love the name, very evocative. I can see it: a proto-Rebel cell striking by night in Imperial Center itself, ashaming the newly born Empire and helping senators and Jedi flee the planet.

    The coolness.

I like the title (though I'm almost suprised they didn't go for the "Knights" approach).

perhaps by book 3 it will be Coruscant Knights....
since the jedi are gone into hiding, they don't move in straight lines anymore, but rather always two steps forward and one to the side.

something tells me that I-Five will be the ultimate hero here.
