While some of those are funny, others are just mean and uncalled for. Several of those people even post on the RPF.

 

And this from the person who thought it was a good idea to wear a colander on his head as he went clubbing one night.

Sigh... I know 'krautboy', sort of. He's local to my area/subculture. While some of his jokes can be funny, I've been hearing his particular brand of "make fun of people I think I'm better than" humor for years now. Hear my distain.

For how to be a jerk? For not knowing anything about the EU? (Yes, I know some "purists" don't do EU)

I didn't find any of those comments to be funny.
I now know a lot of the people in those pics, though I didn't at the time. And they are nice people.

I feel like it was an insult to even post that link here in this forum. I'm not sure disdain is a strong enough word for what I feel about that site and his comments. It seems like he just likes doing this to people, though not in a physical way:

You have something against Triumph? He was here in NYC teasing all the SW fans, but you know that took 4 days to shoot. It wasn't some guy just knocking on fans - it was scripted. BTW I have my own caption for you...

Triumph does not offend me; in fact, I enjoyed being on the Conan O'Brien show. I've gotten free food in restaurants due to managers recognizing me. Haven't gotten a cent from it (darn release forms), but I had fun.

Triumph was funny straight through with his act. His also didn't seem as malicious and beligerant as the link posted.

Yes, that was me in my younger days of when I was 18. (I was also 19 in that skit, see if you can find me in my other costume. *Hint* Its purple )I'll be 22 in about 6 weeks. *cringe*
