It just occurred to me that there are some physiological similarities between Geonosians and Toydarians. Could the two species possibly be related?

Other than both of them having wings, there are no similitarities.

My eyes popped at this one.

BuriedAlien, please explain what you see as the physiological similarities between the two--I'm really quite curious as to how you're viewing these creatures!

I suppose that is possible but highly unlikely.

Only thing in common are the wings. Other than that there's no connection.

They cant be related, they evolved on completly different worlds. Besides, Toydariens are mammilian.

Yeah Geonosians are Insectoid aliens, highly evolved insect like creatures,Toydarians are Mamilian/slightly reptilian in apearence, the fact that both species have wings is just evolutionary.

It's called "parallel evolution", if you want the scientific term. They both have wings, but that doesn't mean they're related - they're from different planets, for one thing.
