Covertec Belt Clips and Obi Wan belt accessories

Help!

I am seriously sick of losing out to buying one of these damn things - can anyone in the UK help please? I only need one!

Another final piece to my Obi Wan outfit! Just looking for accessories for the belt now....

Ive been told their good to deal with.

What else did you need? Food Capsules (Steadler pen caps)? Pouches?
(resin or leather?) Buckle? Toys? (communicater, breather)

and did you want to build your own or buy ?
Helps to know where to send you.

Hey, if you don't want to use the extra clips you have to buy, you can always put them on e-bay and get your money back, more or less. I found selling one of the extra's paid for half the cost of buying them all!.

You know how much you can hate something so much, but also love it at the same time....well eBay came up trumps for once! Yes - it makes you sick to the pit of your stomach when you see the bidding page and keep refreshing it every 0.5 seconds.....until the end.....but I won two of them!

I made some of those Staedler food capsules easy enough, but the Jedi comlink really made me laugh!

Hey yeah.. I've had trouble trying to find those darned Covertec things. Hell, I'm having a tough time just trying to find ANY belt clip of that sort. All the ones I can find are the pouchy ones that just slide onto the belt.

And I can't buy anything online because I'm still a minor, and my parents aren't too keen on the idea of buying things online from ANY vendor-- shaky or no. By the way.. I'm in the US; Los Angeles area to be exact.

I was able to get a Used Covertec case WITH clip for $4us off of Ebay, Just took the knob off the case, I got lucky.

But if you cant get the real thing, Best Buy sells belt clips with knobs that are almost the same, just a different company makes them, its Belkin, or another company that makes electronic parts. You should be able to find them near the Cell Phone stuff, or the PDA cases. I did see them on Best Buy's web site, and alot of the items you can order online, but pick up and pay at their store when they come in.

The Steadler Pens I found at Staples, I have heard Office Depot carries them too. But dont have any of those here.
Only thing is, the new pen caps are grey/silver now,exactly the same, The old ones they used in the first few movies were yellow, ive only ever seen those online.

 

No problem Cerebral Rent! I guess this is the idea - to help, share and discover the wonders of costuming (and its frustrations!!!).

I luckily won 2 of these, so will now be looking for a pouch to hook onto the second one. Yes - eBay (if your heart can take the strain) is a good way of getting them. MMP Costumes sell them individually too, but shipping might cost.....

The Staedler pens food capsules were the easiest item to make and look great!

The Jedi comlink is my next adventure - a used Gillette Ladyshave razor! I never knew that was what it was! My gf just threw one of these away! I nearly slew her with my Focrce FX!

I just listed this set of leather pouches, I am working on the pouch that Obi wore on the back of his belt in episode III right now.
