Crank Yankers

This is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Puppets doing real prank calls. And Big Bird smoking weed? Brilliant.

I love this show, too...but it can be a mixed bag. It can be downright hilarious and downright boring at the same time. Not all of the calls are comedy genious. But...I suppose...not all of the crank calls are going to be gems. Luckily it is more consistently hilarious than consistently boring.


That said, I love it when they have the Touch-tone Terrorists on the show. They really know how to get folks riled-up.

 

I use to watch this show all the time. I kinda haven't been watching it much anymore. But i's funny.

Crank Yankers isn't as good as Reno 911, Chapelle's Show or South Park, but it definately is hillarious.

 

^^^^^^^^I think it's even better than South Park. SP has a lot of cursing and is downright unrealistic. It's not even original now: Cartman has the best lines, other than that all the characters are the same. It's soooo predictable. And I hate when Mr. Hankey is on - it's just not funny.

Crank Yankers has some great characters: Special Ed, Hadassah, Niles Standish, etc. One of the best episodes is when a black woman dials the wrong number and accidently calls the CY team - she wanted the mail station. The CY guys improvise saying that her package might be on fire because one of the guys that works there is crazy and smokes crack. It gets specially funny when Willie, the supervisor, tells her that, because it's Saturday, "we all get to drink". Cracked me up this one.
