I'll be honest, I don't have much to say about Alema (aside from the fact that I wish she'd just die already). I just wanted to start a thread with "Crazy bugslut" in the title. Best SW line ever!

I'm not sure how things are going to turn out with her. She's evil, so part of me thinks she may join up with jacen and lumiya at some point, but she hates jacen so much, i higly doubt that will happen.

The idea of former dancer/Jedi is great, too bad they chumped the character out.

 

I always bet that Alema was based on Aayla, before she became more of a main character in the runup to AOTC.

I hope she dies -- for good this time -- brutally. I also hope she proves actually necessary to the plot of LOTF. That's about the extent of my interest in her at the moment.

 

She is a tragic character. One of those minor characters who get a raw deal and who the main characters do not care about at all. For example, Luke claimed to know that she would fall to the Dark Side in SbS and did not apparently do anything about it even when she was for at least 8 years part of the Order he led!

I would have preferred TSW to be the end of her, because nothing good can probably happen to her, and I do hope that there will be conclusion to her story in LoTF. Redemption probably is not in the cards, so a swift death would be probably the best she could get.

 

I think it would be cool to have her be saved...we don't see enough stories like that.

Alema...of all the characters...manages to recover...while Jacen falls into darkness.

It would be an amusing twist.
