Hello, I'm new to this site but I been aware of it for quite awhile. My main question is the process required to become an officiated Jedi Council for an area. I live on Guam, and know there aren't any Star Wars groups out here at all. So I'm wondering the required process to start this, and what benefits that may come from it.

    Hi, and very welcome.

The process for starting an official FanForce chapter, which is what the local organisatins are called, is quite simple. Post in your regional forum, and once you have three persons from the same area posting you can request to have your own tag created. We really want to encourage people to meet offline as well, so you will not be considered an official FanForce chapter until you have had three meetings, with at least three people present. At the third meeting you should select a chapter representative that will be the spokesperson for the chapter, and for example have access to the chapter representatives' forum here on the boards.

Now with Guam being located where it is, would you prefer to post under the US Pacific, Asia & Africa or Oceania Region (Aus/NZ)?

Firstly, thank you for the timely response. The meetings and the chapter representation we can definitely have done. In terms of forum location, it would probably be best under the US Pacific.

We would like you to announce your upcoming meetings in your regional forum, who knows somebody else might see the notice and decide to show up.
