I'm creating an Obi Wan episode 3 costume. I know the fabric for the tunics is really made out of khadi and is really hard to find----I've noticed many of you are using a crinkled fabric that kinda has the same effect---I was hoping someone could tell me what it is and where I could find it----thanks in advance---B

S_S edit: I see you found the Obi-Wan thread. Locking this now. Thanks! :)

Well firstly its not Khadi, that was and is a false fact about them.

Second of all if you hop down a couple threads you will see a Thread dedicated to the costume and you may want to ask there.

    Hi Jedi B,
Obi's under tunic is made from a silk jersy and over tunics are made from Indian homespun silk. THAT's the critter that's really difficult to find. Over tunic is also fully lined.
Pants are off the rack. Dockers or Sickies work pants will fit the bill perfectly.

actually only Qui-Gons is a jersey silk, Obi-Wans has crinckle to it in TPM and AOTC. And as for the outer tunic being Indian Homespun thats still unproven...
