cybernetic eyes in the SWU

We know cybernetic eyes exist in the star Wars Universe. Wolf has one and count VIdian had them.

Yet from the interviews in Rebels Recon it sounded like Kanan wouldn't get them. Why wouldn't he or do you guys think he will?

This is already being discussed in various threads, mostly the Kanan one. We also don't need a thread solely about cybernetics.

 

Lack of high tech medical resources on the part of the fledgeling rebellion.

Luke got his new hand obviously. Maybe by the time the Alliance got that advanced, Kanan was already dead.

 

He can use the Force to 'see', as they said in the Rebels Recon - in fact he'll be able to 'see' more now.

Also have we considered the possibility that maybe he just doesn't want to get replacement eyes? It's not like he has to, it's his body.

 

I don't think the Rebellion has the resources to give him cybernetic eyes.

 

I bet They could get him the eyes, but they are just a waste of resources especially when he can still "see"

 

Yea definitely, probably they don't have the resources to give him some, plus Wolf and Vidian don't have the force to see. Kinda like how Rahm Kota didn't get cybernetic eyes, because he didn't need them.
