JD answered the question as to pricing cortosis bullets -- which I believe was something like 500x normal price.

So larger items, armor/weapons or the like, would likely be considerably more expensive.

Also remember it's dependent upon the era.

EVERYTHING was cortosis weave for the most part in the KoTOR-era. Whereas it's extraordinarily uncommon later on (e.g. Rise of the Empire and earlier/later).

lets not forget to mention that cortosis ore and cortosis alloy are different. If a lightsaber strikes Cortosis ore, it will shut down, and some of the ore will be chipped away. If a lightsaber strikes Cortosis alloy, it would be just like striking another lightsaber blade. The alloy isn't chipped, and the lightsaber doesnt shut down.

Yo, Rogue-Thunder: I was wondering if you could supply us out here with some more 411 on both the Jesaari and Cortosis Ore/Weave. I noticed it mentioned in the Dark Side Suppliment but haven't done a lot of reading of the Dark Horse Comics stories of the KotOR. I read your comment about the Jesaari and tried to do a look up in the STUoE but no Info popped up. I humbly cry for your assistance if you would help please? Who are the Jesaari and what is the history of Cortosis Ore/Weave? Thank you for your time on this. :)

    Vangarian out.

    No prob.

The quick summary of the Jensaarai (I misspelled it the first time) is that they are a Force order based roughly off of Sith teachings. They aren't evil in and of themselves but until the events of "I, Jedi" they harboured some resentment towards the Jedi for slaying some of their member (who were evil, but the remnants of their order didn't know this).

They make their armor out of Cortosis Ore. A lightsaber shuts down but it will still chip away the armor. The masks that they wear are also Cortosis but are fashioned in different like-nesses. Usually what the wearer looks/looked like underneath.

Here's their entry in the unofficial enyclopedia
