Dark Trooper or Darktrooper? an exercise for (inter)National Retconn Week

it's been said before that the darktroopers in Dark Empire II are not the same as the Dark Troopers in Dark Forces. and that the Blackhole troopers from the Marvel Series are unrelated to both.....

WHAT IF....

Lord Cronal alias Blackhole took to financing the continuation of the Dark Trooper Project on his own because the Emperor refused to pay for it from govt coiffers?

FACTS
Stats on Lord Chronal:

Prophet of the Dark Side (could foresee things)
Emperor's Hand (was privy to the Emperor's dealings)
Father of Sariss, Jerec's 2nd in command
High Ranking Member of Imperial Intelligence (had access to the same mainframe that Kyle Katarn copied the Dark Trooper Project files from--- and thus may have a bone to pick with Kyle)
Although a True Prophet, was responsible for the establishment of a few False Churches of the Dark Side (collection plates, anyone? just one of many ways one can get funding... especially when you have a Grand Admiral as one of the parishioners.)
Whereabouts Unknown (although, the planet where his daughter, Sariss and others were trained had an inordinate amount who showed up in Dark Empire II or faced off against Katarn, like Sedriss for example).

the ideal dark trooper: a force-sensitive (albeit weak in the force.... easier to control) elite intelligence stormtrooper in a phase 3 suit. the droid brain in the suit to heighten reflexes that much more, plus files on improved tactics, strategy, mission objectives, maps, you name it.

why not show up more in the e.u.? finance and materiel is limited so, the missions are highly blackops.

I feel i'm leaving stuff out, here. I know this gets more in depth than what i've mentioned so far. I'm forgetting some potentially involved figures that would help solidify this theory further.
