Darth Sidious' lair

Does anyone know where Darth Sidious' lair was located on Coruscant? This is not to be confused with the LiMerge Power building in which he met with Count Dooku at the end of AOTC - This is the building as seen in the graphic novel DARTH MAUL and read about in the James Luceno ebook SABOTEUR.

Mr Luceno describes the place as a cavenous den that was both Sidious' sancuary and repository, while the comics collection shows a tower relativly close to the Jedi Temple. In fact, Qui-Gon actually senses Darth Maul's presence briefly as the cloaked Scimitar passes by overhead.

I was wondering, could this be a floor of the 500 republica building? Afterall, Republic Intelligence and the Jedi did track Darth Sidious for 'The Works', to the building's basement in the ROTS prequel novel LABYRINTH OF EVIL...

 

I think it is the same one from Labrynth of Evil. The tunnel between The Works and 500 Republica means that he could meet his servants where he chose, in this case the bottom floor of his apartment. Heh, that sounds funny, Darth Sidious having a meeting in some guys basement.

 

I hope the root of this behavior is established in the Plagueis novel. Palpatine invites friends over and they all hang out in the basement with a big "KEEP OUT" sign spraypainted on the door.

I've always wondered where Sidious had his lair. There was LiMerge Power, EmPalSuRecon, and a hidden set of rooms in 500 Republica. The rooms in Republica was where Captain Dyne and his commandos found Sidious and were swiftly killed by the assaassin droids there. But I've always wondered what a pair of Geonosians were doing there. Sidious must go there in person, and these Geonosians might realize who he is. But Sidious probably had a dozen lairs on Coruscant, as the Jedi never suspected him to be the Sith Lord until it was too late.

In fact, as I recall, the LiMerge building was destroyed when Invisible Hand crashed onto Coruscant. Part of Palpatine's plan?
