Back when The Phantom Menace came out I kinda went nuts and picked up any star wars memorabilia I could find. One of those was a Hasbro Action Figure that I can only assume to be a misprint and I'm been wondering lately if it's worth anything. It's a Darth Sidious Action Figure and commtech chip, but it's on a Senator Palpatine Backing. I don't know if this was intentional due to the characters, or if someone just screwed up. Anyways, I've been a longtime viewer of the site but never ventuerd into the forums and thought I may ask for the expert opinions here. I can post a picture if need be also. Thanks guys!

If it's a different card backing than the figure, it's just an unusual oddity. It's worth is the same amount what you bought for it.

It is not unheard of to have errors of wrong cards/inserts/stickers with figures. Unfortunately, errors like this don't tend to increase a figure's value, except to certain collectors who go for errors, and values can be lower because of errors.
