Darth Vader/ Prince Xizor/ Faleen Disaster

Does anyone know where I could find specific information pretaining to the disaster on the planet Faleen, which led to the deaths of Prince Xizor's relatives? I checked starwars.com, but that site had only basic information. Thanks!

 

I dont believe it is actually written anywhere. Maybe in the Essential Guide to Characters, the new one, but I dont remember seeing it there.

 

Only reference books such as the Essential Guide to Characters have anything on the subject, and still they have little more than basic information. 200,000 Falleen killed because of an Imperial viral agent that was accidentally released. Vader ordered the afflicted areas "purified," or burned with lots of blasters. Part of those killed were all of Xizor's family (I believe he was minor royalty) aside from one female member, to which I can't remember his relation.

 

Falleen is a feodal planet. Xizor was the son of one of teh king ruling it. He was not 'minor' royalty. In fact, his king ruled the main city of the planet, and most likely a vast territory. The Empire installed a bacteriological research lab in the planet. But an accident occurred, and rather than letting the planet be destroyed, Vader, who was visiting the installation at the time, ordered the two destroyers that were in orbit to open fire and destroy the city, thus killing in the process a few of Xizor's parents and siblings.

 

And Jix was involved!
