Dash Rendar

Could anyone please help me with something? I have heard numerous times that in the game Shadows of the Empire, there is an alternate ending to the one where Dash dies? If there is one, could anyone clear this issue up?

 

I shan't give it away, but if you play the game on medium level or above, you get a different ending. If you collect all the challenge points, there's some other function that I can't remember.

 

I can't get past the medium Xior's Palace (I can get upto the head of the droid at the end, but never beat it) and it gets annoying to be sooooo close (because I know I can beat the level after that one... thats partly why I asked.

 

I curse the day my boyfriend got me into computer games! Stuff like this always happens to me too, I have dozens of games I'll never finish.

The only thing I can suggest is to go back a couple of levels, and do them again, saving as many of the stronger weapons as possible (seekers, flamers, whatever else, it's a while since I played), for the boss. Just use your laser thingy unless necessary.

 

I think so, but I've never been able to finish the game without cheats, so I haven't seen it.
