This is one of my favorite Dave Barry books, and I absolutely can not wait for this to come out.

    Hi I'm confused, I'm awesome.

I have read many of his articles in the past, but never a whole book. I might have to check this one out though.
I can't figure out how he is so funny.

Please tell me he's writing it. If it's just some guy taking Dave Barry quotes and having characters say them, I'll pass.

I loved Dave Barry when he used to live here in Philly and write for the paper. It was a sad day when he moved to Florida.

Apparently the screenplay and direction will be handled by the guy who wrote "Sleepless in Seattle". Dave will appear as himself, a narrator/tour guide type figure. I'm assuming he has an uncredited hand in the screenplay as well; it wouldn't be right if he didn't.
