Anybody subscribed to DeAgostini Star Wars Encyclopedia? I'm looking for information on the Emperor Palpatine one.
Whenever I see your username @Sable_Hart I know it's going to mention Lord Sidious in some way, shape or form
Are you talking about this one, @Sable_Hart ? I have been meaning to ask over here if Deagostini's published works' information was to be considered somewhat canonical to the franchise, i guess this is my chance. Does anybody know?
Wookieepedia considers them canon, for what it's worth. This Encyclopedia at least seems to mostly contain canon information anyway.
They do. But they are so far behind (mostly cause of the focus on The High Republic, Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett and soon Obi-Wan Kenobi) we get bits and pieces that then end up modifying my appearance lists.
I am talking about this, yep! It's published in the UK under the brand "Fanhome." Anybody got a copy of the Emperor Palpatine version?
Oh, so it is far more official than i thought! Not yet, but i will begin collecting some of these now, if i get the Palpatine volume i will write up any interesting new information it has if you want, or are you asking solely to find where to get the volume or buying it? If so i can't help with that lol since my volumes would be in Spanish.
Hasn't made it to Australia yet. Should check with my local newsagents. They've been missing me since I finished the Eaglemoss Star Trek models and I stopped buying Powerball tickets as I gave up gambling.
Has there been any kind of statement on the canonicity of these? It seems like they have a few references to otherwise Legends-only events and characters, so I wonder if it might be a similar situation to FFG/Build the Millennium Falcon/Helmet Collection.
I've kept an eye out for this at the local newsagents and WH Smith's (UK) but haven't seen it at retail. Don't really want to subscribe as I might not want all of the issues. Anyone seen it at retail in the UK yet?
