The kindness, open mindedness and morality of the YJCC never ceases to amaze me.

EDIT: I know I'm going to get so much hate for this post. But he was a man who did some good things for his country. I may not agree with his methods, but Chile would probably be worse off without him. Plus he has a family who I'm sure are grieving and they deserve our sympathy as much as any other family in their situation.

 

I've lived and grown up with Chilean exiles. He was a monster, and deserves no respect from me.

 

If he was such a good thing for Chile, why do you think you'll get hate for saying so?

Schwarz, I never said he deserved your respect. Nor did I say he was a good person. I merely said that his family deserves our sympathy, that he may not be as evil as people make him out to be (I do recognize that he was brutal however), that Chile would probably be in worse condition without him and that I don't agree with his methods.

You're a very smart man and I'm sure you realize that I never said that.
